Totally (and Nova's as well) and it is absolutely great that Memb includes different streamers every time, including "small" ones. Maybe a female caster before the end of the tournament? One can hope.

Crazy game between my fellow countrymen Kasva and Vivi. To be honest, both of them made quite a lot mistakes which made game more fun for viewers.

I felt a bit sorry for other players who lost to favourites, because both Kasva and Vivi seems a bit weaker. I mean among the losers, Capoch, TheMax, Barles, songsong, all of those looked sharper than Vivi and Kasva.

Good luck to Kasva, with the power of our founding father smiling behind him, he is gonna do well.

PS for Kasva when he reads here after game: Fenerbahce is losing against Galatasaray dude 11.

Maybe this is more appropriate for the map chat, but the neutral golds in game 3 of MBL / Bruh were absolutely horrible for bruh. Someone should check the map script to make sure that doesn't happen in the main event

Will the players continue to have this many bans going into the later stages? Maybe if they get fewer bans Vikings will get played more and get a few more wins on the board.

All BO5's have 3 bans per player. BO7's (QF and SF) have 2, and then the final (BO9) has 1 ban per player according to the handbook

If this is the last S-tier event aoe2 is going to have then we couldn't have asked for a better finnale.

• Map Arabia, generally open
• Open tournament, 512 players down to top 16 now
• Well designed group stage which allows robust progression to final 8. A single unlucky set is not going to knock you out. After top 8 it's very close in terms of level anyway
• 75k prize pool to keep top players interested (theoretically)

Such a shame he played against Vivi, I wanted both to go through.

What do you guys think about the number of viewers? Maybe it's too early to tell but it felt like Memb's channel might have had more viewers thanks to Viper/T90's farewell.

He did cast on Saturday. He had 600 viewers when I checked. Dave had something like 1.5k. The rest probably goes to Memb, which is well deserved.

Yesterday's game was just pinnacle of what he brings to the competitive scene, in both good and bad ways 11 He made Memb went absolutely NUTS

Vivi said his favourite civ is Burgundians, and his final win in AoE2 was one of the best games I've seen a top player utilizing the Coustillers (post-nerf)

Also, saymyname put up a heck of a fight too! So good to watch players giving their best in an open Arabia, I'm loving the tournament so far

I think Memb hit 10k viewers during Viper vs Saymyname, which is mighty impressive for a Ro32 match, even one with The Snake, and should be a good antidote to some of the post-AoE4 doom and gloom that's been around this forum recently.

I'd expect 11k+ in the quarterfinals at the latest, and maybe even during the group stage if one of the elimination or decider matches has big enough names involved.

This Arabia version, the quality of the organisation, the latest changes to the civ's and the old new civ's (Burgundians & Sicilians) finding their spot in the meta, ... great stuff!

I believe during Viper's game, I saw below numbers on leftbar of twitch:

Memb 10k
Dave 2k
Nili 1-1.5k
Lida 0.4k

And Dave and Nili were casting together. It is safe to say Dave benefited a small portion of T90 viewers.

so we play until 2W or 2L. After 2nd round we will have 1 player already in next stage (2W), 2 players 1-1 and one player out (2L).

I believe it's highest seed vs lowest seed unless they've played before.

No there's not. There's 4 people who are 1-1, none of which could have played against all 3 other players and 2 players cannot have played against each other and a third opponent, which would've forced them to play against the same opponent in the final round.
