It was great when the tournament started and you saw Memb so proud of his tournament and Danaerys theme was playing in the background
Just trying to help

Why would A native English speaker from Oxford cast in Spanish?
It's a joke, I love both robot and chraziniMaking it sound like that one didn't recently receive a nice (and well deserved) promotion.

Probably a controversial opinion, but I think Memb/Ornlu is the best casting combination after watching last night, also remember it surprising me before (maybe in NAC2 or BoA2?). I think it works alot more like sports commentary where you have a play caller (Memb) who defers to someone for analysis/other info (Ornlu) and I think they play those roles perfectly. Also, havent seen Memb solo casting so far which I think would be a good change of pace sometimes.

The maps we saw were absolutely horrible and completely unacceptable. The only reason they were played is that the players decided to not bring any attention to it, and the player with the awful generation won in the end.Love the tournament so far. Just one suggestion: @MembTV mentioned that a map like theMax got in his second game would warrant an admin restart if it happens in a live game, but where to draw the line if a map is too bad? The judgment seems too arbitrary. Wouldn't it be better to allow one restart for each player in the live games?

I suspect it's due to the Definitive Edition workshop not correctly updating the map mod, leaving the players with a version of the map that had these issues a while back. This was quickly patched, but failed to be delivered to the players.
Defining when the map is actually bugged is quite easy and not arbitrary at all. Once you know how the map is supposed to generate, it's quite easy to determine if something went wrong or not.
I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to these things, so it's incredibly embarrassing what happened in front of this many viewers, but I can pretty confidently say that it shouldn't be as big of an issue going forward. It's also important to note that if this were to happen in a live game, these games would undoubtedly be admin restarts.
I apologise for what happened, but at least we had some incredible performances from some outstanding players.
In all fairness, how many map generations we have seen so far? Very well generated and fair maps have been the rule, not the exception. A freak anomaly doesn't invalidate the base premise; the map itself is really good. Also, I laughed and almost snorted coffee out of my nose when I saw the map and I can appreciate a good laugh. The maps we saw were absolutely horrible and completely unacceptable. The only issue for me is that we've seen a lot of series in recent tournaments being decided by the Civ draft.
I'd like to see, at least the semis and final rely less on pure civ draft. I think a mix, e.g. start at least some games with hidden civ pick would be a fairer match-up.
I also would like to see the CC3 draft system being experimented withConsidering how dear everyone appears to hold random civ on Arabia it does seem like a tournament devoted to the map should prioritize this over draft in all situations where concerns over smoothing variance can be reasonably mitigated. If we are being honest a final series Bo11 feels pretty gratuitous unless it is random civ.
Yes, but it would lead to many of the top civs being repeated which is somewhat boring while on arena that was never that problematic.

Maybe that you can choose a played civ of the opponent to append to your draft after every third series. How would you tweak it for Arabia?
I saw vivi’s post before it was deleted.
Is there anything written in the rules about such admin re’s?
the vivi case what I could say is :"black whistle ".The rules say admins can force a restart with no reason.
... but forcing to replay a game when it's been over would be a total nonsense, I really hope that was not the case
