Jan PUP - Ranked DM lobbies, no balance changes, bug fixes and two new coops

Saw this on a Reddit post, can someone verify?

Cannot verify at the moment. Can anybody check the arabia map generation with this PUP? I'm curious if they're staying with the KotD4 version or if they are changing it again
Also I'm glad there's no balance changes for this patch, I'm getting used to the current balance and I don't feel anything is broken/overpowered (except on non-arabia maps, which has always been the case)

Seems they have added biomes to Arabia, other than that no changes.

I'm not holding my breath on a full implementation of Ranked Lobbies for all game modes. The wording in the first news piece for Ranked DM Lobbies, about future Ranked Lobbies for more modes, is strange and confusing. It sounds like while there are plans for more modes to join Ranked Lobbies, the ability to create Ranked Lobbies for those modes will dynamically unlock and lock depending on the current Unranked Lobby popularity of that game mode.

It sounds like a bizarre half measure to simultaneously please pro- and anti-Ranked Lobby players that shall fail to fully please either side. But it's believable because DE's multiplayer are full of such compromises.

Based on a Reddit post yesterday it looks like they killed or are killing the unranked elo that aoe2 net shows. Don't know what it means but it seems a bit interesting that this is happening now just as ranked DM lobbies are becoming a thing.
