Why would be Hera Dynasty and not Liereyy, while Lierrey won more tournaments in the same amount of time ?
Don't get me wrong, Hera can win anything. But so far, the score is on Liereyy side.
Even if in my opinion, Jordan and slam have a more competitive mentality nowadays, and could be on par with Lierreyy + Hera if they train every day.
So yeah, GL is pretty much a gentlemen's club of AoE2 timeless legends + Nili at this point.
Isn't Slam severely crippled when it comes to performing in tournaments? I would call that the opposite of having a competitive mentality.Jordan and slam have a more competitive mentality
The other day I was watching a stream when a sex joke came in chat about the queen of England and her recently deceased husband. I was shocked to realize that lots of young British people not only respect but also revere the royal family. The most interesting question is:
Who the f*** still thinks in dynasties in 2021?
The language can be imprecise but generally what is meant by "competitive mentality" in that context is the attitude of the player towards trying to win rather than their possession of the "mental" skills necessary to realize those goals. To tie back to the topic of this thread, not many would have thought it unreasonable in March 2020 to say Hera had a "competitive mentality" even after the HC3 final where he got swept because Viper was able to completely tilt him before G1 got to Feudal Age.Isn't Slam severely crippled when it comes to performing in tournaments? Don't get me wrong, he's obviously an extraordinary player, just critically handicapped when it's showtime. I remember him being considered a top 5 player (some people even said top 2) when I started following the competitive scene... around 2016
