The good guys over at AOE4 throwing money at their dead game just to distract the snake from dominating AOE2
It's a deliberate attempt by Nili to make the aoe2 scene more exciting, and look at all the hate he got for itThe good guys over at AOE4 throwing money at their dead game just to distract the snake from dominating AOE2
I don't know which one I laughed more, the post itself or the fact that robo put angry face. It's a deliberate attempt by Nili to make the aoe2 scene more exciting, and look at all the hate he got for it
The hero we deserve
Putting an angry face to will's messages has nothing to do with their contents, it's more of an inside joke.I don't know which one I laughed more, the post itself or the fact that robo put angry face.
Absolute beast.GOAT
Viper just chasing the $$$ trying to maximize his career earnings. He's dedicated his life to the game so as long as he doesn't do anything really immoral it's hard to blame him.Remember that moment when viper said aoe2 was his first child, poor baby it would be dead already by lack of attention, gladly aoe2 is a grown adult.
I wouldn't celebrate viper's aoe4 achievements if the cost is stopping playing aoe2.
wow, he is able to win in a game that has what, 3-5 serious fulltime players?Really impressive Display from Viper, he adapts so fast if he puts in the Hours. He is for sure able to win Golden League Main Stage in the end!
The "long" rivarly gonna end right after the conclusion of the Golden League. Viper is coming back to Aoe2 full time.A true champ to comeback in the way he did. The rivalry of beasty, marinelord and viper for top will continue for a long time. With each of them having very different playstyles, it will be a gift that keeps on giving for aoe4 competitive scene,
I would be shocked if he didn't compete in future AoE4 tournaments as well, there just aren't any announced at the momentThe "long" rivarly gonna end right after the conclusion of the Golden League. Viper is coming back to Aoe2 full time.
Who would organize it? Pesti and Nili already burned their wallets.I would be shocked if he didn't compete in future AoE4 tournaments as well, there just aren't any announced at the moment
Funny if aoe2 doesn't have tournaments it's Nili's fault by not giving enough money but if aoe4 has no tournaments it's because pesti or Nili don't have money themselves to host.Who would organize it? Pesti and Nili already burned their wallets.
Your comment does not make sense. You have to put in money from your own pocket too. Microsoft dôes not just simply pay for every tournament expense.Funny if aoe2 doesn't have tournaments it's Nili's fault by not giving enough money but if aoe4 has no tournaments it's because pesti or Nili don't have money themselves to host.
that's how it looks like because you didn't think of the bunch of fulltime players who simply didn't make it to the top 5.wow, he is able to win in a game that has what, 3-5 serious fulltime players?
You sure about Lierrey? Didn't follow him (or aoe4) much, but I remember something like being in the army and having less time to grind/practice than a full-time streamer/player?Lierrey, Hera and others tried to compete too. they simply didn't manage to do so. (and Viper was not much more commited to the game than them)
Dude, Hera completely gave up on the game, he's nowhere near as committed to aoe4 as Viper.that's how it looks like because you didn't think of the bunch of fulltime players who simply didn't make it to the top 5.

Seems like you are speaking for the contents of other people's wallets but OK.Who would organize it? Pesti and Nili already burned their wallets.
It makes sense since aoe2 guys always had money if they wanted to host C-tier to S-tier tournament but chose to not to. There is no proof that Microsoft is not willing to fund tournaments from biggest streamers(even Jordan gets $10k despite no previous history). However AoEzoners blamed Nili for no tournaments (it's also debatable if there is such situation as no tournaments). Tournament being hosted is not up to Microsoft but always up to hosts regardless if organizer seeks for MS money or not.Your comment does not make sense. You have to put in money from your own pocket too. Microsoft dôes not just simply pay for every tournament expense.
Furthermore if you want to organize a big Aoe2 tournament but you know your changes of pricepool funding by Microsoft is small, your are less incentivized to host one.
I've not even started yet.Who would organize it? Pesti and Nili already burned their wallets.
aoezone trolls in shamblesI've not even started yet.
