AOE-II Is Hera's current 29 match-win streak possibly greatest ever?

Accoding to Liquipedia, Hera has won all of his Age of Empires II matches since Jordan's Medieval Brawl S2 #5 in March. This includes a 5-0, 3-0, and 3-2 over Viper, a 5-0 and 4-1 over Yo, and a 5-4 as well as a 3-2 over Lierrey. All of these matches against the top 4, except the 3-2 against Viper, are in S-tier tournaments.
If I'm honest, I've never tracked winning streaks, but I noticed this and it seems like it could be unprecedented. Is it?

TheViper had a string of 33 wins & 1 draw in 2015, and 43 wins in 2017-2018.

2015 including the 2-2 draw with 8th_wonder, Viper only dropped 21 games.

2017-18 dropped only 33 games including
vs DauT: 4-1, 2-1, 3-2, 11-7, 3-0
vs Liereyy: 3-0, 5-1, 2-0, 2-1, 5-4, 4-3
vs MbL: 3-0, 2-0, 4-0, 1-0, 3-0,
vs TatoH: 5-1, 5-2, 2-1, 5-3

Though Viper's may have been longer in length, I do think Hera's is more impressive, the level of players participating in tournaments is so much higher, and it is much harder to win them. Hera's past year has been absolutely exceptional in terms of his incredibly consistent performances in many events.

It’s certainly an impressive record. Unprecedented? Unsure, Viper most certainly has something very similar if not better since he was #1 for so long.

Every #1-2 player seems to have some temporary phase of “immortality” I’ve noticed over time. Koven was supposed to be invincible at one point, Daut was also supposed to be truly legendary when he was Argonaut_Goku (heard people say crazy things like he had skills of a 3k or something like that), and Chris once was studying at univ and made a new nick being inactive, got to #1 with not even 5 losses in his free time. Aside from the others, I’ve never came across another story like Chris playing in free time when all other tops were active. Not downplaying others btw, all incredible things.

Edit: Robo beat me to Viper. Dunno about tourney stats of Koven, Daut, or Chris back then btw. There’s probably something there too though.

Okay, those Viper ones might be even crazier. Thank you for taking the time to gather that data <3. This one feels so dominant to me because of how one sided the two 5-0 sets looked like against Viper and Yo of all people.

I don't think it would be possible for them to beat these numbers as a) there are fewer tournaments recorded on Liquipedia that far back (and probably fewer tournaments to begin with) and b) at least for DauT & Chris, they seem to have shared the spotlight mostly, and any long streaks either had was inevitably broken by the other.
The longest I can see was 18 wins for DauT in 2009-10, and 22 & 26 for Chris in 2005-06 and 2007-08, with just a single loss to DauT in the middle, breaking what could have been a 49-match win streak.

for Chris i see a 21 win streak in 2005-2006 (From his defeat against Shine in Handicap Tournament to his defeat in the final of MVP3 against Daut). as for the 2007-2008 streak, the exact dates of some matches towards the end of the streak are not clear, it could be anywhere between 21 and 25, depending on the order of the games in the final phase of BCC, where he lost only against Ruso. overall 43 to 47 streak with only one loss against Daut in the MVP3 final

Same goes for Daut but even worse in terms of uncertainty. His streak starts with the final stage of BCC (same problem as Chris, exact dates of that are unclear), and ends with Master of the huns exact dates are unclear as well but the most probable is that it was played during jan/feb 2010, so daut's streak at that time, between his last defeat in BCC (either against Chris or Tommy) to his Master of the Huns defeat against Che, should probably be between 14 and 17. (I don't know for sure tho)

longest win streak i see for Koven is 6 wins

Grunt had an 11 wins streak, including undefeated MIT victory and all of WCG 2001 until his semi finals loss against chunyu

We also have problems with data lacking for older tournaments. For example, Halen has a recorded 17 wins streak in 2002-2003 but that includes his win in arbalet cup II where only the results of semis and final are available and FOPT Anniversary Cup where the earlier rounds are mostly unavailable as well. if we imagine he was also undefeated in earlier rounds in both those tourneys where results are lost he might actually have a 20/25+ streak here. (From his defeat in Arbalet Cup 1 against TMD, to his defeat in FOPT Anniversary Cup in the final against Daut)

(From the tone of that blog post we can see the writer thinks he would have most likely won that tournament, had he played it until the end.)

We can also notice that he participated in and won the GB WCG2000 qualifier, but we only know that he won in the final against his fellow countryman Loko. He probably won earlier rounds here as well. High said in an interview that there was 16 participants so we can imagine, if it was single elim bracket, that he won 3 more sets before that. Neither High or Loko got to go at the WCG anyway because Denmark didn't have a spot there.

Overall, from what I could gather, High had an 11 wins streak spanning over 3 tournaments, followed by his only tournament loss that was his admin loss in Age of Strike, which was his last aoe2 competitive game.
