You could volunteer if it means so much to you. There is no full time staff, and one staffer announced he was stepping down, I believe.will aoezone ever have any kind of moderation?
I think they do as well as they can.

While I somewhat agree with the part about his age, I think this is (unfortunately) the price people pay for having a public face? This "put yourself in his shoes" rebuttal that you make to defend Hera's actions will probably apply for many popular personalities who have gotten into trouble. Indeed if I were in a similar position as Hera, I could have reacted similarly, I dont know for sure. But then, I am not trying to make a living as a full-time streamer. If I pull something like this in my workplace everytime I get frustrated, I am sure I will be reprimanded or even fired. So if you are a full-time streamer, then I suppose you have to maintain your composure in front of all the people. One or two slip-ups is fine, everyone is human, but I think we can agree in this case it has gone more than that. I am sure Hera will learn from this and get better. I think he is already a much better person than what he was, but saying "put yourself in his shoes" to silence critics is not a fair argument.Hera is young, quit expecting him to behave with the decorum of a grizzled professional athlete. Most people his age are still in their first couple years of college, not performing a very stressful task live in front of thousands of people for large amounts of money. The only people he needs to worry about pissing off are Mr. Yo, the tournament organizer, and any of his paying subscribers. None of them seemed to have a problem with it, so I reckon everybody else can piss off and not watch his stream if they have an issue.
Put yourself in his shoes. You're quite young, you've quit school to play a game professionally on stream that you're still trying to prove yourself as one of the top 2 players in, and you just got taken apart. Oh, and BTW your parents which you live with are Palestinian and watching where they grew up get blown to pieces every night on TV, so I'm sure the mood in the house is quite cheery.
Not agreeing with you most of the time, but this is so spot on.
Never seen anyone whine when Daut does this.
Is AoEzone more "toxic" than reddit? Or were you being facetious? I do not frequent reddit, so idk. That's because Daut is secure in who he is and doesn't give a **** what others think or say about him and he's 100000% right. Hera on the other hand is way too insecure and looking everywhere for approval and validation. Like he did in this thread replying to virtual nobodies (mouthdrooling clowns) in the most toxic corner of the AoE2 community
But security and confidence in oneself comes with age and experience. Hera will get there.
He just wasn't in a good mood to play, no electrician needed. The real discussion is if Hera's electrician's dynasty is over?
I stayed away from that toxic thread because most had been said, but this is too much.Just catching up on this thread... disappointed I initially missed the post where the guy invoked Palestine as a reason for Hera trolling. That’s an all-timer.
I think it is a matter of delivery. I can't explain it here in words, (maybe an audio or video would do more justice). Try to understand. the same joke can be delivered by different people in different ways and it will be consumed by the audience differently. IMO, that weird gimmick was fun. but a simple heads-up would have changed the way people looked at it. like describing it "hey guys I am doing this now, lets see what happens. this game is dead anyway". etcValid point. In that case we can agree i played 99% of the tournament seriously and just left out 45 seconds at the end to have a bit of fun. I dont know about u but i enjoy my profession and have fun at my job wherever possible.
Right after doing the serious 3v3 tourney i was laughing with heart and lierey throughout it all despite having had a frustrating day due to miscommunication of scheduling. Only difference is i was at the butt end of the joke during the yo series. Its ok i can laugh at myself after the series ends.
Are we not allowed to have a bit of enjoyment even during a rough day at the office?
I think it is fine to be tilted, it is fine to be a little toxic (dont like this word at all) it is fine to be the bad boy. It is becoming part of heras brand, and I like it. We dont need more slick Mr. Nice Guys in AOE. I enjoy the real anger and the emotional behaviour. That is why I watch Hera stream, please dont be sorry for it, embrace it. And please dont delete your vods, like the showmatch vs liereyy where you also tilted. It maybe have been rude, but it was authentic.
Says the guy who is allergic to question marks. KappaHow about a spell check first. Kappa
have you met aoezone? 11. This is were the no-lifers come to feel alive.Omg this was supposed to be a harmless troll thread. Now you guys are fighting for spelling errors and what not...
Wow,You could volunteer if it means so much to you. There is no full time staff, and one staffer announced he was stepping down, I believe.
I think they do as well as they
Relax bud, he sent a few vills forward for a few seconds. You are acting like he beat his wife (with the celebrity remark). If Hera’s little glitch in personality really bothers you, then you really need to question what you find important in life. While I somewhat agree with the part about his age, I think this is (unfortunately) the price people pay for having a public face? This "put yourself in his shoes" rebuttal that you make to defend Hera's actions will probably apply for many popular personalities who have gotten into trouble. Note: I said critics, not the trolls, who deserve no respect. Best thing Hera could do is to ignore them and not feed them.
