is anyone playing on a mac?

My friend sucks and bought a mac... can he play voobly vs pc user on it? any help would be great.

I'm pretty sure on steam it doesn't matter, but for voobly using the original aoc version you might have to run windows or something to play on a mac... could be wrong though perhaps someone else knows more about this

I install a virtual trial version of Windows 10 and use it to play on Mac. All fine and good, but it require 16 GB of RAM to be decent.

I just use bootcamp, its super simple. You can download windows for free:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10ISO

and bootcamp pretty much just installs itself, just open bootcamp assistant and plug in a large usb/external hard drive.

Boot camp is totally the way to go.

I’ve tried Wine and virtual desktops, there isn’t a perfect solution with Mac but boot camp is definitely the best option I’ve found.

I use bootcamp, but its a pain in the ass an it lags quite bad at 1080p res, maybe only for 1v1. Damn aoc always lag still in 2018

For Voobly you'll need to run some kind of windows instance on your mac, like dual booting or a visual machine.
