That boxes on right side... I don't know what kind hobby SOTL into, but as a student who took electronic classes in university, I had exact same setup, or another words, hoarding of components in different boxes like that.

I just watched the interview. Absolute wholesome video. Spirit really looks like a cool guy to hang out. I have always found fascinating how he managed to get the top place in AOE2 youtube content, despite doing the total opposite of everyone else was doing at the time about the game, and how the format of his videos has also managed to influence other big content creators to stray away a little bit from the pure competitive view of the game, and make videos more friendly to casual players in general.

Nice interview. Sotl was pretty coy but masmorra drew out some interesting takes. Definitely don't agree with him on many of those (mainly the idea that upskilling ruins the new player experience) but it sparked a nice discussion. Cool to see sotl putting his all towards the game.

I've always agreed with sotl on the idea that his videos are not guides on how to play the game -- just tidbits that may or may not help people improve or become more knowledgeable.

The fact that views of SOTL interview has passed all previous interviews in just 2 days proves that biggest AOE content creater is SOTL by far. And he managed to do that without controversy, if you compare with Will and Nili's interview, where everybody was trying to get hints about future of AOE2.
