I have been thinking about this for quite some time already.
When you select a unit, you can see the unit upgrades researched in blacksmith and a few in university (+1 range for onagers for exemple).
I was wondering, why can't we see other important upgrades that the enemy might have?
Ballistics for exemple, is a really important upgrade for your ranged units but we can't see if your enemy have it or not (unless if you try to move your units while being attacked and realize he has it).
Then I started to think, is it possible (would it be better?) if you could see what upgrades your enemy would have? Thumb ring for exemple is a really difficult upgrade to realize if your enemy have it or not in the middle of a fight, and it's a upgrade that might change the result of the fight, and if you know your enemy have it and you don't, you probably wouldnt fight if your numbers are similar.
Other upgrades that come in my mind that I think would be useful to show in the units stats would be the vikings unique tech in castle age, giving infantary (+5?) attack vs cavalary, byza unique tech giving catas trample damage, same as persians with the elephants, slavs with druzhinia, even monks upgrades when they have redemption or being able to convert a monk for exemple.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure there are more upgrades and I dont know if it's possible or not to do something to be able to show them.
What do you guys think?
