How are these ideas? Im honestly very split
here's two from me
Rams 'Drum Beat' function. You know how TC has the town bell for villagers? Drum beat would tell nearby army to enter the ram or transport. And hitting it again would tell them to exit.
transport **** could get it's own signal flag or whatever - tells army to enter. no exit flag, you gotta still land manually.
.
would it be used by pros? idk - it's a similar situation to the town bell, they just garrison them manually. for people who have bad micro or bad mouse, would be a nice addition though.
Especially when you have like 30 rams and 100 halbs, waste of time to garrison that all when you could micro eco and forward or something better
Question if it would be a GOOD addition, or a BAD one. Because it would completely change the dynamics of playing the game. imagine DM, you playing Huns, you have like 40 halbs and some siege rams. Now, you don't the time to garrison normally, but drum beat would let you do this. it would open up new tactics, but are they improvements to the game, or negative?
My personal opinion: Because Archers are stupid when presented with rams, the concept of a drum beat for rams to garrison and ungarrison infantry, though novel and useful, would at this current stage be too powerful. Also, I don't like racecar rams in the middle Ages. Transports, on the other hand, I completely support the idea of a signal flag button to garrison all nearby troops. (assuming pathfinding works out)
