I must confess that I used to be cheating in 1v1 ranked DE games. My cheating allowed me to know all enemy resources location and lame them.
The way I did this is by using anal beads. My friend used to be watching the game in spectator mode and communicate resource positions through vibrations on the device. I have also programmed them so that they start vibrating every time @Moonfaller joins the queue so that I can confortably streamsnipe him.
Am I sorry for what I did?
Not a day goes by I don't feel regret, and not because I'm in here or because you think I should. I look back on myself the way I
was... stupid kid who did that terrible crime... wish I could talk sense to him. Tell him how things are. But I can't. That kid's long gone, this old man is all that's left, and I have to live with that.

I am on Hans' side btw. I am not saying that I am confident he didn't cheat, but if Carlsen and others are making such accusations, they need to provide some proof. Ok, apparently he did cheat in online events, but I haven't seen any evidence of him cheating in an offline event and more in particular in their Sinquefield cup game.

On the other hand, I find it very unlikely that someone like Magnus would do all of this if he wasn't 99.9% sure that Hans cheated during their game in the Sinquefield cup.

To me, it's pretty clear that Magnus, chess.com and some others are privy to some info which we don't know. There could also be an NDA due to which Magnus is silent.

But if you ask me whether I trust Hans or whether I trust Magnus, I trust the world champion. I don't see why else he would risk his entire reputation built across last 10 years, if not for taking a stand against cheating (which he is convinced of). I also don't see why the biggest entity in chess (chess.com) would ban him simply based on Magnus's stance, if there is no evidence.

Also see Levon's and Giri's interview yesterday. It seems that after Magnus's stance, people are learning some more dark truth about Hans's online games. Hans probably didn't cheat in the Sinquefield cup, but everything else (and particularly online events) is up in the air.

OP is absolutely a cheater btw, it's verified on dozens of recs. Known as "drill time, u no wood" and a few other names and spends a great deal of time harrassing his opponents in and out of game. It's not just the fog of war hacks, but other things as well that he was stupid enough to use recently. It will be interesting to see what happens after a ban because I imagine a player who is toxic & only knows how to vill rush should be pretty easy to spot if they create new accounts.

I presume cheaters are playing on family account sharing smurfs rather than their own main accounts. Will probably have to get Steam involved to VAC ban accounts, since afaik DE can't seem to tell when a player is family shared from a main account.

Cheating is a pretty serious accusation.

Unless it's #ertugconfirmed probably best to hold off on any assumption of guilt until there is convincing evidence.
