Tested it out some weeks ago, in castle age arambai win vs conq, in imp conq win.You guys tried to micro with mangudai or conqs vs arambai?

Choosing civ has turned it into complete cancer. People picking burmese every game is so annoying.
In fact, as has been mentioned multiple times, there really needs to be a feature where you can tell if your opponents are picking civ.
After playing the map some more it's becoming more and more obvious to me that this maps is great in TG and a nightmare in 1v1.
How good at micro you have to be to use arambai? I've tried this double castle thing two times, and failed 11. How many arambai should I have to start attacking? Which upgrades? What minute?
Help this noob
Dunno if adding second Castle is worth it. Enemy can always add mangonel/scorpion/monks/skirmishers/Castle and defend cost effectively. Better imo go 1 Castle, add mangonel or even monk if needed, push and drop forward Castle. Then go imp and kill all.How good at micro you have to be to use arambai? I'm starting to think so. Never had problems microing Conquis or CA, but arambais are a whole different history.Personally, I'd say Arambai are the hardest units to micro
Yes.So you agree that it is best to save the real attacking until Manipur?
Knights should be easy to deal with. If someone is really being successful with knights, though, consider getting ballistics before any other upgrade, then husbandry. I prefer using Target fire or patrol spam as opposed to stop micro as well so you could give that a tryWow, thanks for your replies guys, very helpful! I found it quite difficult to use them against knights, since is really hard to snipe them due to arambais awful accuracy. Basically, I should avoid confrontations with heavy cavalry until I have how many Arambai?

Anyway, next time, I'm gonna focus on dealing structure damage instead
I'm imagining that it is so tight on time (must get a lot of Arambai fast) that blacksmith market is the best option. Versus heavy Archers though I'd opt to go up one higher pop and stable market. If you're confident in your allies and communication go for stable blacksmithdo you go castle age with blacksmith market, or with stable+blacksmith/stable+market?
in teamgame a market is important for cartography. A blacksmith is needed for the +1 armor. A stable gives you bloodlines, but is the most expensive option as it also requires a barracks.
I know, right? But how many arambia do I need for that? And then, again, should I patrol them? (I mean with concs I always shoot the nearest knight, But I'm not sure it works that way with arambai)Knights should never be a problem for arambai.
Also, their inaccuracy makes them way stronger
The probabily i hit the bull with darts is bigger than Arambai hitting their target. You have to know: I am bad at darts.
