Anywhere I can read a drama thread or did memb talk about it in his interview ( not watched all of it yet )

I don't know if it was ever broached in a meaningful way, but memb had that funny "oh yeah" sound for his sub alerts since forever. He also had the funny titanic flute for some stuff, I believe. So basically twitch gets a copyright claim and memb has a few days (if memory serves me right, it was for sure no more than a week) to cut all of it from his vods or he gets banned. I don't know if the copyright claim was for just the sub alert or other stuff, but there is no way he can go through every video so he deletes it all. He looked 10 years older for the next days. Guy was crestfallen, as I'm sure anyone would be. I get the impression there was no wiggle room for him from twitch, and though one might argue it is the rules, one might also argue that customer support should be reasonable and respectful.

This is my impression based on how I remember things; I do not know how much is fact and unfortunately I can't remember when he talked about it on stream, but I think he understandably wasn't to keen on talking about it.

Our unbiased tournament coordinator (@Nili_AoE ) goes all in on aoe4 when allocating MS funds and calendar slots.

aoe2 pros becomes less active in aoe2 game because no big tournament in sight in 2022 compared to 2020-21.

And now T90 doesn't want to host HC5 because aoe2 pros are missing.

We have come full circle in this self fulfilling prophecy.

Oh I guess I linked @willdbeast to the wrong thing. That was also an instance where it seemed like he was poorly treated by Twitch however.

I don't know if ignoring such negative and personal comments is the right way, but giving the spotlight to such commenter and labeling everyone else and the forum as negative is not very productive, in my opinion.

Fair enough, looking back through the previous comments I guess you are right, that the majority of comments were a semi neutral discussion. I suppose, in the future I should call out the specific people rather, than labelling everyone equally bad.

I think T90 has given a good answer for this. Hidden Cup will come back, it's just a matter of waiting a bit longer.

It's just sad that instead of further re-invigorating the community AOE4 is taking everything down with it.

Just saw the video first time, I wanna say couple of words:

In this forums, I sometimes challenged robo when he sweared to a user or when he took admin decisions unfairly (in my belief) against some reputable players, but I wanna say, I agree with T90 (which also not happens a lot), robo would be a better choice for tournament coordinator and he was kind of doing it already, other one would be Chrazini, just my two cents.

Back to Hidden Cup, I am disappointed that we "probably-not certainly" won't see in 2022, I was enjoying predictions and seeing Skinny fail or changing his mind especially over Jordan last time (just kidding dude). Basically two big events missed this calendar year but I understand his reasons and I can also understand the fact that there might be prize money issues, he might have to contribute from his own pocket more than he planned because MS pool went to other pockets, especially if it is like one big pool for both games as he mentioned. I also understand and pretty much share his concern about that his external sponsor money collected for AOE2, eventually will be used for AOE4 by MS since they can provide less money than they would like for AOE2 if they learn prize money is already huge and shift their resources towards AOE4.

I guess it is gonna be Memb's year and I hope he can capitalize like Dave did and be one of the big players with a huge growth in his channel. Currently top4 streamers that I follow are out of game in 2022, T90, Viper, Nili and Hera, somebody has to fill that hole, there are plenty of Twitch users waiting for good content.

This forum really manages to always spin anything into the most negative possible, right?
T90 always had a preference for the more gimmicky sides of AoE, this year already -hosted the wandering warrior's cup, as one of the few major events that included a "silver-league" for lower level players as well, and hosted the regicide rumble, another strongly community focussed event.

Just for full context the “silver league” aka Wandering Squires only ram because I volunteered to spearhead it. Do agree with your points. Very easy to put a negative spin on it.
