It's not even news anymore but still I find it quite funny how much he needs to reason his decision of leaving every time he leaves and comes back just because ''AoE2 is different''. At least the next s-tier 1v1 isn't yet announced for the near future iirc so he should be staying with us for a while.

It seems like a DLC. Also LoL is just not as interesting a game as AoE2 in its current state. DE has a ton of questionable balance decisions and severe content bloat but LoL is sick to its core.

Lol, Hera needed to milk that cow this year like Viper, reasons: it is not so competitive, the playerbase is shrinking, so, new experts coming from nowhere is not going to happen, and he was beating everybody left and right when He took the break.

Hera would have a very good chance of qualifying for RBW6: AoE4 if he committed back to AoE4, but likely wants to focus on AoE2 where he should be a favorite to qualify

Can't tell if he's serious. Making 6 figures playing a video game is pretty nice. Hopefully he is just joking/blowing off steam -- because the ceiling always grows higher. Always will be those with better opportunities, better luck, better circumstance -- hopefully happy with what he has.

Honestly, I dont see any reasons why the very top aoe2 pros will participate in RBW aoe4. Yes theres 50% more prize money, but their chances of winning are A LOT thinner. Imo its only worth it for those who are outside top-20 or even top-30 in aoe2.

It's a silly post really to make it seem like stopping playing aoe4 was this huge mistake. You could tell Hera was mostly kidding here plus there are no burned bridges. He had left aoe2 in a similar fashion and everything is the same now as if he never did. If he wants to return to aoe4 there is nothing stopping him. What he said or tweeted does not mean anything.
