Finally I accomplished to play 10 DM 1v1 & TG matches. When I started playing the 1v1s the RM TG elo was also taken into account. Therefore I got clapped in most of the games (win rate 20 %). But I also managed to win against someone with 1k DM 1v1 games. My 1v1 DM rating is 1458, rank #247. The games were fun & everyone was gentle.
The DM TGs were played after the change that the elos of different ladders weren't taken into account. Therefore 90 % win rate. It was also fun and no one was salty.
In the meantime I played 1 game EW with a friend (11XX 1v1 RM). The other team was 1 14XX 1v1 RM and one quite new player. The new player died to my scouts since his woodlines were super open. He lost like 20 vils in feudal and resigned. His team mate kept on playing but he was super salty and resigned five minutes later. I'm not 100% sure whether EW is that good for super new players. On the other hand I played some DM TG with a friend who didn't play the last 20 years and he didn't know what to do (DM). I told him some things but he was defeated after like 5 mins. He just loughed and we played 4 more games and he enjoyed it.
So, let's hope for the best for AoE2 and also for DM!
