Hey, about a week ago I decided to stream, yesterday I bought a second monitor, problem is now I freeze and it become almost unplayble ( in 1v1 it’s still ok but in tg freeze is too big).
I have good computer, graphic carte etc and checked already it’s definitly not because of that 100%.

Maybe some setting to change or install, or in voobly stuff ?
Anyone have idea ?

It seems to be a very common problem with two monitors, although I'm surprised both of yours are 60hz, thought it only happened when one of them was 144hz. The only solution I found was to just turn one monitor off when playing AoC, other people with the same problem on other games have tried upgrading their computers but that didn't help. I currently read the chat and alerts from my stream on a laptop until I get my second computer ready.

This week I am receiving a GTX 1080 TI, more RAM and an NVMe SSD, if that doesn't help solve the problem then it will confirm that it's not hardware related.
i was trying to get new video card as well but prices here in brazil skyrocket wtf 1111

maybe 2nd pc is option after all. let me know my frd

This one seems like a long shot to me, but someone said it fixed it with gtx and win10 for them. It's easy to try, and it should be on here probably anyway so try setting: Power Management Mode > Prefer Maximum performance.

It's an awful solution, but you could try running both monitors on 60 Hz just so they at least work while hopefully a solution is found. Hopefully nvidia can fix it soon. Win8 had random problems like this when it came out, and eventually newer drivers fixed stuff.

I thinks it’s to do with refresh rate. One monitor 60hz and one monitor 120/144hz and you have a problem. Two 120/144hz monitors and everything is fine. That’s why some two monitor setups will work while others get the lags.

Thanks for this topic, I'm currently experiencing these problems as well, I was fairly sure it's my GPU but reading this made me think otherwise.. I'll try some of the things suggested as well as try to look for another solution and will post again. :]

Since my last post I've upgraded my PC quite a bit, now I got a 144Hz monitor which I tried setting to both 120Hz and 60Hz (since my other screen is 60Hz) and the lag was unplayable, worse than before (my previous other screen was old and had a different resolution so I was blaming that for the lag). Ended up unplugging the other screen and I'm very frustrated. Is getting two 144Hz monitors a way to prevent this? Can someone confirm or suggest anything else? I don't want to get a second PC.

Weird, Usually when I play, I plug my laptop into an external monitor. I do normal browsing in one monitor and playing in the second and I have no problem.
Try to use the integrated video card, that might help .

Hey, so it seems I've found a solution which works for me - both my monitors are set to 60 Hz now and I changed the encoder in OBS to Hardware (NVENC). I get a little freeze very occasionally now.

The resolution doesn't matter. 1080p and 720p should be fine. It's a problem I think with win 10 and different refresh rates (black adder's comment). Other games have the same problem.

On win 7 I'm using an nvidia card with an old 17" monitor and a newer 144 hertz monitor without any problems.

I'm wondering if this problem still exists. Planning on buying new 2nd monitor now but i'm unsure if i should buy cheaper 60hz or 144hz (my main monitor is 144hz).

I once had the issue when i had my friends PC but i remember i might have been able to fix it with changing something in NVIDIA control panel that i found in while looking for a fix for the problem. However i only used dual monitor set-up for a day on that PC so i can't remember was the fix 100% and what was the actual setting i changed.

Would love to hear if any1 has 144hz and 60hz monitors working on windows 10

Alright I just got done talking with Voobly Tech Support regarding the issue and here is the advice they gave me:

1. Remove all hardware and reattach
2. Fresh install of your OS
3. Delete all AoC files and reinstall
4. Reboot computer
5. If still not working buy a new computer
6. Delete GeForce Experience (this is my legit advice)
7. Like this comment for being helpful
8. You're welcome
