I dont want to take away your hope, but what you search for is charity, not a sponsor. Because nobody in the world would make money in investing 300 $/month in a unknown 2.2k player with 4 k followers on twitch.
Keep grinding, make urself a name in tournaments, so more people start watching u. The rewards come automatically.

Adding to what he says, you should start streaming in English for a wider audience. I am pretty sure that most Turkish viewers will still watch plus additional people will watch your stream.

Also, it takes a lot of time to build your stream. I have been at the stream of a lot of streamers since day 1 or 10 and now to day 1000, it's not a sprint. It's like a marathon. Example, you can see Shadowcrystallux, Moonfaller, LilTrouble who are not the best in the game but still has decent amount of viewers and subs due to their long time streaming and consistency. Just keep on doing it and improve on it. Also, restricting yourself to Turkish is not a way to grow imo.

Let's ignore how you got to 2k2+ and whether your rating is legit and let's also ignore your in-game behaviour (apparently more people have the same experience with you seeing the screenshot above). I wonder what makes you think you'll make living of this game. If anything, quitting university and a job as you have a dream to be pro player (while being maybe top200 and that's likely generous estimate) sounds like extremelly naive and premature behavior. Without disrespect, there are far more skilled players in early - mid 20es who also have this dream of making aoe their job. And yet they understand it likely won't happen or that it at least takes time to get there. I know you'll likely ignore this advice, but what you need isn't a sponsor, it's to find a job before (unlikely scenario) - this will be a living for you. I also think switching from Turkish to English isn't really option, generally fluent English is required for streaming there. Also Turkish community seems very oriented on Turkish streamers so it's fairly likely 80%+ of his viewers are people from Turkey.

Since US Dollar equal about 15 Turkish Lira, 200 - 300 dollar is more than minimum wage in Turkey. So its not "extremelly naive and premature behavior" as Dracont said. So, I support how he tries to earn money with beloved computer game.

you can choose your civ at every game or you can pick random civs, its up to you. I play with many different civs and i am not opsessed to a uniq civ. Always different. So, if I'm playing always same civ, this is my problem, not opponent. Lame is something that is in the game, or people who are uncomfortable or can't handle it, I recommend playing empire war because there is no pig, it will be a more fun environment for you. I want raise my rank and paly good. People in the tournament doing lame and watchers standing ovation, why in rank game this is not true ? It's really funny, and this opponent when I doing lame write me ' be proud of yurself'

Yes, but the issue is he doesn't have that money and he needs someone to sponsor those to him, as he's unable to make living of the game now. Assuming he'd have this income, it's fine for him to switch the job. But I just can't leave my job for a dream and then ask someone to sponsor me cause surprise surprise, I can't live off it.

You shouldn't expect to make a living through AoE2, even through streaming. I don't know how many people can the fish in this pond feed to be honest. As for the sponsor, you know you got to be able to offer something back to the sponsor if he throws his money on you playing games and unfortunately, ''one day I'll be beating TheViper'' wouldn't justify a sponsorship. Have you contacted Kasva yet for all of this? I think he is somewhere ahead in a similar path you wish to follow.

But one thing that always makes me feel bad and sad, is how anyone can always find all the reasons why some big dream can’t or is extremely unlikely to be achieved. What you're looking for isn't a sponsor, but more like a sugar daddy - someone to pay for your expenses while you play, with no real expectation of returns because you're a small streamer catering to an even smaller community (the Turkish community) and of a relatively low Elo if we compare to actual top players (you're not even the best player in Turkey, maybe not even top 3 in your country!), and an Elo that was artificially boosted by civ picking. Hell, look at the top 20 of AoE2 players - only a handful have ever gotten sponsorships, most of them make their money through their streams, merchandising, tournament money, coaching, etc, and some don't even manage to live off the game entirely and have part time or even full time jobs on top of it. Sponsorships and esports contracts are hard to come by in a niche game like AoE2.

As Dracont said, dropping out of university and quitting your job to go pro on such a small game strikes me as a premature decision - you quit your job and drop out of Uni *after* you've secured some sort of income, be it from streaming/coaching/tournament wins/living off your parents, not *before*.

Best of lucks, but I think we'd all want someone to pay us $250/300 a month for doing something we enjoy for absolutely nothing in return. It's just extremely unrealistic for the vast majority of us, and I'm afraid that probably includes you.
