Getting called slurs/falsely portrayed as racist on Stellarmeesh' stream #Feelsbadman

Yesterday/this morning I was queueing up to play with some 4v4 teamgames with some of my clanmates. I was suprised to see that we've been matched with Stellarmeesh and her crew ( Flying Saucer, T-West, Uhtredshield).

After the game, I decided to boot up Twitch to see if either T-West or Stellarmeesh had been live. So I could watch the game from their perspective including their comms. Initially I just thought it would be a fun and lighthearted stream.

However, what really got to me was that at some point they thought we were a 'racist team' or something along those lines. Throughout the game, they implied and at certain points explicitly stated I was a racist only because of my teammate's offensive username.

My teammate had indeed a very offensive username, although I don't see how that would give them a pass on falsely labeling everybody in the enemy team as a 'racist'.

Throughout the stream, their comms included things like 'that's what you get for being a RACIST!' when they were raiding my eco and such. After they lost the game, they all shared a laugh while reporting everyone on my team. Even though all that me and part of my team had said during that match was a simple 'gg'.

I had vented something very much like the title of this post on the AoE2.net chat, where I initially didn't expect much people to care. Some people replied and asked for context and proof. Later on T-West and Uhtredshield joined the conversation as well after I shared the VOD in question.

I figured the best way of showing people what I was talking about was to share the VOD of Stellarmeesh' most recent stream. After a few people had seen what I was trying to explain, Stellarmeesh immediately removed the VOD, and Uhtredshield and T-West claimed that they had no part in any wrongdoing whatsoever.

After an extended talk, they couldn't be bothered to apologize unironically. I was pretty much met with the 'I am sorry I hurt your feelings' kind of apology. While Uhtredshield went into extensive detail about how he doesn't think it's wrong to call people slurs in front of a big audience with malicious intent. This leaves regular long-term players like me with very little opportunity to defend ourselves and my reputation.

Your teammate should be permabanned, and you should have a good think what it says about you that you accept and defend this kind of behavior.

His user name states(stated) that he denies that the holocaust happened. It's not racist, but it's some weird Nazi propaganda twist on history. So probably calling them Nazis would've been more appropiate.
Don't even know why would anyone defend someone with such a username or associate themselves with them like OP.

If you are okay playing with him while he spews that in form of his username, then yes, you are at least tolerating it. Sorry, but there is a line with "BS name" and something like that. Don't even know why this would be up for debate.
If you don't want to be associated with his Nazi propaganda, then probably it would be best to stay away from him or simply don't play with him, if he doesn't change his username. Since this seems to be your only concern.

I wouldn't say it is on the same level, because denying the holocaust is way more harmful than that. At least you show some rational thinking.

yeah as anyone would have guessed that username lasted for exactly 1 game, his username was automatically changed back to a series of numbers pretty much immediately.

I don't really talk about politics. I am just in that clan to play some AoE2 without having to solo queue, and give/get coaching from time to time (like most others).
