And then look at the rating tactics. this is a very good tactic who did not defence with militia he loses the mine mill, etc. Read the entire game with the attack begins at a 1.5 min earlier than the standard Drush tactic

He sent 1 villager forward at ~ 04`00" (before even finding his opponent), built barracks at opponent`s main gold pile (scout found it while the villy was blind walking). Attacked berry villagers with 2 militia + scout + 1 vill at 08`00" (1 more militia on the way). Killed one opponent`s villager (no loom). Villager built palisades around berries (finished around 09`15"). Same villager builds palisades around main gold pile, 3 militias + scout searching for villagers around TC, minor fight occurred. Started researching feudal around 11`45 with pop 32. Heavy gold mining at home (7 vills), hunting deer. Feudal reached at 13`53". Built smith and stable, started researching castle at 15:20 with pop 33, built another stable. Castle reached at 18`00", resources - 188w / 592f / 500g / 200s. Pumping knights from 2 stables... opponent resigned.

Ok, DBZ_CooleR_o_O started normally, scouted his area, hunted boars, got wood... Everything as usually. After he scouted opponent's map, but with one exception. He brought one villager with the scout. That villager made a barrack very close to the opponent's village. Like just few seconds after, he made some militias, and them + the scout+ the villager, entered right in middle of opponent's barriers. Vils escaped, and militias continued drushing. But key was that villager stayed there and walled barriers, which was very unexpected. After, barriers, vil walled the biggest gold pile. Ofcourse, opponent didnt stuck, he wisely walled palisade around and blocked further drushes. He came the feudal regularly, and made fast two archeris. Beacuse he didnt have gold, he started pumping skirmishers. Due lack of barriers, he needed to make 3-4 farms already. Somehow it looked he is defensing: skirmishers killed some militias, but advantage of fwd barrack resulted that militias actually kept the count ( by trains 1-2 militias more only which was more than enough ), so opponent realized that he cant keep the count only by skirmish. He finally found some gold around in a little further. When he finally got some decent amount of skirmish and most primitive amount of gold to make some archers, DBZ_CooleR_o_O suddenly got castle, and in few moments 2-3 knts killed skirmishers, and opponent eventually resigned.

whats unstoppable on this drush??
u send one vill into the darkness, if u do not find enemy early u just wasted one vill, if u meet enemy scou ur vill is gg, if u meet enemy sc + wolf .. no comment ,if u succesfully build raxes and three militias near his gold and wall it, he can easily outnumber u because he send two or three vills +his own sc and militias so once again u lost
and when u lose drush he can wall ur barracks, so he can add militias while upping and up to maa after feudal while u can not
and also his eco is one vill above u

Actually, MaximuS does have a point. That forward vill was sent into unknown, even if it is doable to find your opponent that fast it is very risky - opponent`s scout, wolves... (as MaximuS said). Next, even if the vill survives to reach the opponent, once discovered it is pretty much over. Opponent here panicked and left that one villager wall both berries and the main gold pile (?), while he could bring his own scout + enough villagers (= 4, 5 or 6 in this case), back off that drush and wall-in the forward barracks (-143w for the attacker, 175w for barracks - 32w for palisades to wall it, which should pretty much compensate you idle vills due fighting with them ).

For peterpam, I guess the key here is scouting. Don`t let the enemy surprise you like that, and even if he does - stay calm, check how powerful he is - if not too much (and 1 fwd vill is a joke), fight and back him off, walling the barracks in the end.

11 nah, but thats what experience and one person teach me
i encountered only few frwrd drushes but as far as i know i won them, its just matter of scouting and a bit of micro (i think it was mostly babka xD)
