Seems like you're the one not taking it well and still stuck in perpetually offended prude twitter teen phaseIs MBL saying “**** off you piece of garbage” to a friend or a random opponent/viewer? Most gamers handle it well, but I guess streaming and not meeting a lot of people really can make you mature slowly.
Could be im not used to it. Rarely hear anyone talk like that in real lifeSeems like you're the one not taking it well and still stuck in perpetually offended prude twitter teen phase
It's standard gamer language, you pay too much attention to it. There are no harsh feeling behind it. Quite the contrary, you can see he's smiling and laughed in the end, it's merely a joke.
Maybe it depends on area or time of upbringing but i know it was common (obviously not always and not with everyone but it definitely happened and not too rarely) for me, a lot of my friends (we still jokingly insult each other from time to time) and i have a lot of friends from various parts of the world who are familiar with the concept so it definitely has to be widespread. I feel like people became a lot more sensitive in last decade or so and give way too much weight to simple words. I wish things weren't like that... it's too tiring to constantly worry about wording because someone might find an issue with it, when no real problem has actually happened.Could be im not used to it. I know im continuing off topic but of course im familiar with the concept, just not that much at all now adays (30+). As teenagers we talked like that playing hockey but i would be very suprised if my coach called the assistant coach a ****ing piece of garbage as banter. It's not that i would take offence by it i would maybe just find it immature. I think MBL is close to that age, thats what i reacted on. Maybe people became more sensitive in general but i would rather attribute it to becoming older, just like you seem to talk about this way of talking happening in the past rather than now.Maybe it depends on area or time of upbringing but i know it was common (obviously not always and not with everyone but it definitely happened and not too rarely) for me, a lot of my friends (we still jokingly insult each other from time to time) and i have a lot of friends from various parts of the world who are familiar with the concept so it definitely has to be widespread. if i'm not mistaken he said it to jouds who didn't like it and later mbl was kicked from the black forest discord for his behaviour. Is MBL saying “**** off you piece of garbage” to a friend or a random opponent/viewer?
