Beef bulgogi.
Its a simple marinade overnight after chopping meat into strips yourself, but depends on quality of meat you want as it can cost a bit (New York steak for instance is one choice here but its so worth it). Also, its excellent (in my eyes) when its put on top of rice and you eat both simultaneously, as the marinade from the meat seems to flavor the rice very nicely.
One of my friends went crazy over it after I told him about it years ago.
I’m feeding one of my twin boys.
The other one is already crying while waiting for his turn.
Haven’t eaten in God knows how long.
I’m literally salivating after reading your post.
Beef bulgogi.
For sure gonna try this some time just based on your description of it
If you really are going to try it sometime, here's the recipe we've been using if you are interested
Sirloin steak
1 cup of low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup of pineapple juice
3 tablespoons of sugar
3 garlic cloves, smashed (we have always smashed them but I am sure you could mince)
1 teaspoon of seasame oil
1/2 of a small onion, sliced
Then last, put freshly ground pepper on the meat after you put the meat in a bowl with the marinade.
