Yeah, but it doesn't influence the game as much, as we know that after a certain point, having bad or good map will have same outcome, as late castle age plays out almost the same regardless of map, AND OBVIOUSLY i'm over-exaggerating this, but the point still stands that map does not influence the game to the extent where it is determined from minute 1 how the game will go, and trust me, when its top teams the positions really REALLY say a lot about how the game will go..But if your map is very exposed (say), doesn't this also heavily influence your playstyle/choice of strategy? If you change "position" to "map" then most of what you said is still sound.
