Just watched the entire stream... seems like this rule has gone by the wayside:
"The streams will always have a delay to avoid cheating, and no other persons are allowed to spectate your game besides the official streamers, or if persons are granted permission by the tournament Administration for a valid reason"
Ya, I was on skype with lojza and told him everything, like that sneak yellow had in g5 and.... oh...Just watched the entire stream... seems like this rule has gone by the wayside:

No, it should be: "No other spectators are allowed than the commentators." Everyone else can watch the stream. This is applicable in particular when the delay will be implemented as a streaming delay instead of a spectator delay. See here. Players should never feel obliged to let others spectate or agree to a shorter delay. This rule should be changed to something like "if both players agree more specs are allowed".
Stream delay suck balls. We have too many bad memories where the streamer has some issue and we can inform him first 15 mins later, and at that point the game can be pretty much over. It's much better to have fast contact with the streamer so you can chat with them and ask questions etc.
I guess it will be up to the admins to decide for future tournaments. The stream delay is the best option, with the spectator delay completely off indeed.
Even with a 15 minute delay the spectators would only experience this once: before the first match. Because the players will already have started the next game while the previous game is being watched, there won't be any delay in between.Sure, just don't make it 15 mins, 5 is good 'nuff.
I don't understand now we are reaching the money stage why not just implement a 15 min guaranteed stream delay anyway, give all the streamers the ability to run adverts and there is no issue.
+1yeah, I also think that g1 should be streamed after it finish, I dont know if it's possible, just make the stream 1h after the games starts.
Its better for everyone and you dont have the doubt "will he cheat? can I trust him?"
just for exemple, if you are playing and there is 3min delay, you can just pause the game for some mins saying you have to go bathroom or something then you will have the stream in the real time while the pause and you will know what is going on...

Man, it was like me and slam that was spectating but didn't commentated. People have had 40+ specs in other games. As long as there is delay it shouldn't be any problem. Beside, in the Riut vs Daut game Nv was spectating as well and he wasn't on the commentator team, gg?
This rule should be changed to something like "if both players agree more specs are allowed".
Pretty much what i expected. Got my prediction right :P
Weird that you would prefer being right over seeing a great match. Not much to celebrate I think....Mr Viper, I think I've won this round stream delay vs spec delay. Riut vs Yellow stream is quite a clear example. Now I'll just go and celebrate this victory with bishes and champagne.
No? I stopped watching because of the stream issues and we couldn't reach Memb because of stream delay. It wasn't the preps that failed... the first game was ok but then they started to mixture with the sound and ****ed up, and then because of stream delay instead of spectator delay we had to wait 7 minutes. Then when 7 minutes had passed they still failed and we had to wait ANOTHER 7 minutes. I rather watch the records then, so I stopped watching the stream.Weird that you would prefer being right over seeing a great match.Mr Viper, I think I've won this round stream delay vs spec delay. The only thing I have seen is bad prep losing to good prep.
