Nah, the last wrang of fire was absolutely amazing. loved the settings, loved many of the sets and you got a decent amount of high level players that took it exactly the right amount of serious. Just not exactly the AoE Zone crowd.host A tier tournaments:
no one cares
Artosis, some sc2 caster guy who they got to cast an aoe4 game or something once. No idea what he's doing in the list... I guess that cast was funny (I don't follow or care about aoe4 so what I said might not correspond with reality).
If you hop on twitch just to watch aoe2 and didn't look at the last redbull I don't think you had any other chance to ever see him.
I was listening to music whilst watching the semis of NAC4 and it was actually pleasantly surprising. I realised I don't need a running commentary to understand what is going on and if someone is fook or not. Was a bit of an epiphany. I still prefer casting though.Honestly I find casting annoying. Give me 2 screens and I'll watch both players' POV in a 1v1. Often with both sounds on since they rarely overlap each other.
At this point I understand the game that I don't need to be explained the basic details of a bad woodline or which hill to castle.
It's like having sex explained by a caster when you're watching porn. Thanks but no thanks.
