The final week for the REDcup 1v1 tournaments is here.
There will be a BO7 final for the low bracket between Haijuk and KiwiMulletboy.
BloodyNival and Cjanbar will battle for bronze (BO5).
The finals for the highbracket (BO7) will be between ACCM and the winner of Spring and Snyper_ who had trouble scheduling.
The loser of Spring and Snyper will battle against Klavskis for bronze. (BO5)
The players are still scheduling their matches : see scheduling. Also keep an eye on the AOEcalander, because I will add the matches there again, once they are confirmed.
So far, both tournaments had very entertaining games. The players were challenged to adapt to weird starting situations and crazy settings. Often we saw players coming back from unfortunate positions by showing the ability to adapt and improvise, and by using the maps to their advantage. Some unlucky mapgenerations meant the end for some players. The extension rule has been used several times (Thisoption can be used in the first 5minutes of the match, to extend the series, giving the losing player some more opportunity to come back) but we have yet to see someone succesfully recover from being behind with the use of extensionrule.
All played games can be found in the 'recorded games'
Most of the matches have been covered by BloodyNival (check his youtube here), other casters have occasionally covered some games aswell. Also some of the players have streamed their POV. For the Finals and the upcomming FFA events Im hoping to convince some of the bigger streamers to cover those.
