Feedback: AoEZone content for not logged in new users

@_PkZ_ If there is a new user who is not logged in then the content of the posts do not even appear as per below. I believe this is a deterrent for new users and it does not engage them which might result into them actually creating a login and participate.

Currently what happens is new people stumble upon a link, come to AoEZone then realize they cant read anything hence walk away. I would suggest that you change the permissions so that people can read all the stuff however if they want to interact i.e. make a post or like etc then only they have to login.

Another inconvenience is that if one wants to browse on another device one needs to logging.

I agree with this. It is also incredibly annoying for actual users of the platform if they want to quickly browse from a new computer or phone, or have cleared their history / cookies recently and got logged out

Completly agree, i'm not using AoeZone on my phone because of that (Really not a phone person, i'm automatically loged in on computer so forgot password, too lazy to change it on phone)

Ok, this functionality is disabled. The reason for adding it in the first place was the hope of more ppl register and log in resulting in more activity. But i guess it didnt have that effect.

Some more people might register to read, but this might not translate into more posting activity necessarily as the main reason to register is being able to read the posts, not posting, but difficult to say without data.

Also overall activity might suffer as people may turn away from the site if the obstacle of creating an account is too high, in turn also reducing the number of possible users who will eventually post something.

Reddit is a similar case where they try to force nudge on mobile to use their app or to register. Not sure how that is going for them though, but i guess they may be able t use number of registered users as a metric of success for their shareholders .
