It was a pleasure for me to spend the weekend with you guys.
For all low-level players, dont hesitate to join the next LAN, we were a few players below 1500 rating and had a lot of fun playing teamgames with the "pros" or just fungames between us. We even get the chance to play in a co-op tournament teaming with players like vinchester, edie or gentle!
Even if you don't play, it was amazing to watch the fast reactions of the 2k+ guys live in action.

About the LAN: I LOVED IT!

Here's a TL;DR of my impressions on some of the guys there:

Edie is even more cute in real life;

Can't say much about oGn, was too busy admiring his beard;

cebdos has got "I am f*cking adorable" written all over his face;

Elquark is incredibly sexy;

Gentle: will there ever be a more chilled guy to walk the face of the Earth?

Vincester, was quite shocking to see how fast he is. I think he had a good time watching me play vs Maiwingkos judging by the way he kept laughing at our superior skill. "If you good micro, you now raid with Cavalry Archers HAHAHA" :arrow: knows damn well I don't know what micro is. All this while still being the sweetest thing ever, impressive.

Talking about Maiwingkos, he sat next to me the whole LAN and didn't complain once about my Salt, kudos to you my friend.

Squeak laughed surprisingly often, reminds me a bit of Pike trying as hard as he can not to laugh in order to keep his poker face. And guess what...he is not black!

oGN - 2k5 beard that I think he polishes and shines impressive . Spaden eat your heart out.

Cebdos - wow beating Vinch 1v1 Huns Arabia using a laptop, tiny screen, and sat like 6 inches from it. Would love to see your potential with a proper pc and larger screen . Always smiling and happy, a great addition to the cute gang.

Sangoku (Benjamin) - The guy I would love to party with all night , super cool monsieur, I loved my time with you and the guitar. Only missed sitting on the beach at night with a nice fire

Edie - In reality a lovely guy ( or cute kid lol ) #1 in the cute gang :D

PeterZu - I will also add the Afro guy from Friday night to the Cute gang. Only able to come on Friday but another one to leave his mark, good fun mate

The Mafia gang :-
Aragami & StickyFingaz - I am sorry we didn't speak too much guys, the language barrier due to me being an ignorant UK person is my bad. Hat's off to all 4 Russian Mafia for making that trip from home to come join us. Enjoy the rest of your travels until the 12th July guys.

Dfs - Really nice guy, took the time to try and help others at the event improve, exactly what good LAN's are about. So thank you sir for that.

Vinchester - Used my computer the entire weekend, the speed omg the speed lol my PC is now resting it's old bones just like me haha.

Ze not so angry German efficiency gang:-
ElQuark - Could fit in with the Cute gang above lol but he was too organised

Hogan1988 - Hulk Hogan as I liked to call him Nothing was too much trouble for this guy, seemed to have every utensil known to man in his bag, I think the kitchen sink was in the Car boot Winning the 2v2 with Vinchester, when he considered himself a noob at the event was a pleasure to see, gj sir.

Genette - Typical Mr G - spent so much time ensuring everyone was technically set up - building pc's the organised Germans brought. Glad you had time to also chill and play games, the LAN would not have gone so well without you my friend.

SuperBua - The Big Fella was just as I expected, a big cool funny giant that has no smoking stamina left lol

Masmorra - Nelson is Nelson what can I say, super nice guy that would make any event a better place with his personality. It was the second time we had met up in real life, just wish he lived in Wales lol

Drunker Boy :-
Iviktorius - Banned from the FULL event next time, I cannot ensure his safety as in one night alone he managed to almost drink himself into his grave haha. Those eyes man, you were SO drunk Friday I laughed so much. Super super cool guy and I am really happy you made it.

The we know nothing about Belgium gang:-
PleaseBeGentle - What can we say about Gentle that we didn't know already. Everyone is lucky enough to see the real guy on his streams. Nelson named him the chick magnet, but in reality he was paying the other teams cheerleaders to make him look good, I witnessed the transactions but didn't have my camera sorry.

Malice - Another guy that doesn't read any forums, heard there was a LAN event, found out it was close to his home and turned up. Awesome man so glad you made the effort and took the chance and came. Hope to see more of you and play some fun games.

Maiwingkos - Our very own new Yo - forever known now as Little Yo always smiling and happy even when playing Nelson ( the salt was flowing haha ). Little Yo was voted as the person most people wanted to win the Steelseries keyboard and he was an admirable winner. The votes came in for Little Yo and drawings of Chinese faces lol none were for his real name. Good stuff

The Travellers:-
kingnickyG - Flying in from America, bringing his entire family wow hat's off to you young man. Funny thing was his father also paid for a weekend ticket so he could check in and ensure he was safe. We briefly met on arrival and he never came back once to check on him, so we must have done something right lol

Nicky002 ( Shafiq) - None of us had met or even heard of you before this event sir, so for you to make the trip from Sweden all alone again my respect. Instantly became part of the family and I hope it was worthwhile for you Shafiq. Safe travels this summer.

Squeak - The serious guy that failed to live up to his persona smiled and laughed too much this weekend haha now we all know Squeak is really a nice guy. That rocket fuel you brought burned in 5 different places at different times of drinking it haha

Katsuni - The voice is enough to know this is Mr Katsuni , but you need to stream less and get outside in the sun sir there is white then there is Katsuni the walking ghost haha

The Old timers:-
Taff - Successfully managed to not play a single game the entire weekend Walked more this weekend than I have since I was a boy..every hour the 600m ( sleeping area) walk to check Mrs Taff was fine - " Hi love are you ok" - " yes I am fine just reading my novel" - " ok see you later bye ". 1.2km each round trip, today I can hardly walk lol Old bones old bones

There were a further 10+ that had paid for Tickets, but failed to turn up. Obviously everyone had a good reason that made them miss it, which is unfortunate and I feel sorry for you guys.

The weekend was something I will always remember as a wonderful event and time within AOC.

My only regret from the entire weekend was the noob Finals ( dota or lol ) over running and taking our big Main screen time on Saturday night. That was so gutting. To be fair to the organisers they tried absolutely everything they could to get us on it. I had 14 phone calls on Saturday night from the Video production manager, 3 runners sent out to the stadium looking for me etc. Hat's off to them they treated us like we were special and royalty. I just so wish we got that time on the main stage

I hope everyone that went really enjoyed themselves, you were all absolutely 100% a pleasure and honour for me to spend time with and make all of this worthwhile.

Hopefully the next one will be even bigger and better

Just gotten home from bringing Squeak to the airport. Had a 90+ minute 10 km from the airport and squeak almost had to stay in Belgium for a couple more days 1111

Gotta say it though; what a week! Great people, great atmosphere, great girls (Kappa)

To all the people who were doubting this year, do come next year 'cause it's worth it fo'shure :P
