EGC The winner stays on Week 1

The winner stays on is the latest weekly event by Elite Gaming Channel. In the first episode, we will have MarinelorD facing Probe, in a Bo7!
The victory will not only grant 500 US$ to the winner, but the right to play the next week against another challenger. A streak of 10 weeks means an extra 2500 US$ for the defending champion, whole a 20 week streak means no less than 10K US$.

In order to make the series standard for the future challengers, the list of maps will remain the same, each week. In addition, if we have 2 mirrors or more in the first 5 games, players would have redraft their civs, until we get only 1 mirror. And yes FRENCH are BANNED from BOULDER BAY.

Seventh Game: Altai

Yes, he was, but we commonly agreed on the fact that it was better for him (and for everyone) to focus in AOE II and KotD for now. Viper will be playing in a future edition.

As a big fan of EGC's events so far, Lord Patito, and AoE4 in general, I strongly recommend getting an editor to review media posts like this. The clarity and grammar, in particular, doesn't really represent EGC well

I didn't know i had fans. Thanks! I really appreciate your feedback. To be honest I wrote this in a hush. Furthermore, and to be completely open with the community, I confess that lately, I feel like my English is getting really sloppy.
Long story short, I will try to be more thoughtful when writing post like this one

@Lord_patito Anyway you guys can post the complete VOD on youtube? I personally don't really like watching match by match (and Youtube interface is way better than twitch).
I would also recommend you guys make sure the links on Liquipedia (https://liquipedia.net/ageofempires/Winner_Stays_On/1) are updated to wherever you want them to point. I feel a lot of people go to that to catch up with past events

Keep doing this great work! I really feel when AOEIV gets a few more patches it will be a great competitive game and you guys will be the name for competitive AOE tournaments.

As far as I see, links are updated. Today edition was canceled due to the new patch, but we made some big announcements instead

Then another small recommendation is making a second youtube channel where you post all the complete VODs. But you know better than me how to create the brand

In terms of links, right now it points to the twitch channel instead of the actual game VOD. Normally you would want to point to the actual game I believe? I guess it's up to you.

Normally VOD links are in the match section/details.

Always just have a native speaker look over it so they can pick out the most obvious issues with intelligibility. Not for your normal posts of course but if you writing an announcement in a more official public facing capacity.
