Out of microsoft's intrest. Current situation is fine for them.
When Carlini asked about possibility of buying Voobly:
why microsoft not buying voobly ? easy solution cant be super expensive :D
I never played on GR, can anybody explain what's different compared to Voobly regarding the gaming experience (speed, lagg, pathing?)
1v1 Matches:
Best of 3: Must utilize 2 of the civ pool civs each series.
Best of 5: Must utilize 3 of the civ pool civs each series.
In BO5, G1 and G2 need to pick from civ pool
if score 1-1 => G3 can pick out of civ pool (and also can pick the civs in pool)
if score 2-0 => G3 need to pick from civ pool
G4 if he already pick 3 pool civ then no restriction, if not he need to pick from civ pool
G5 no restriction
am i right?
I'm guessing you've already at least tried gameranger but I maybe we should put and effort into setting up gameranger right now so people can try it so we can deal with upcoming and potentially unforeseen issues. Its still a little while before it starts i think so maybe we can fix some issues.
For what? to repeat the year 2006 experience abandoning the players? no thanks..
i am looking through the civs for the different regions. is it wanted that vietnamese are not available for East Asia, but Khmer and Burmese are? imo Vietnamese are more East Asian than the other two. this is no critic, i am just wondering
Gameranger is a **** is even worse that steam edition. 1.4 didnt work propiety, with a lot of bugs and im worry for 1.5 performace in GR, dont have a spect mod, you play with a very bad and small resolution and Gameranger dont have a anticheat for aoe, you can easly hack the game and those are the reason for why i unistall GR and play in Voobly. If Gameranger dont improve, that desicion can be a huge mistake and can to ruin the tourney.
1. Is the gameplay experience going to be as smooth as Voobly and will the 1.5 patch used in GR?
2. Is it possible for streamers to spectate the game real-time?
3. If not, will you guys stream recorded games?
4. Will there be a spectator overlay?
5. Does GR have an anti-cheat function?
6. If not, how will you take precautions?
7. Are these claims true?
