Like they will walk the most ridiculous ways around things. 1 tile gap? sure let's go all the way around. Also the thing where vils idle after creating a milll or being sent into tc/never going back to work unless individually tasked -- wtf?! I dont know how you even compare the bad pathing of DE even with the original AoK, it is the worst by far of any version, you are just making up things, the pathing is so horrible that deer hunters stuck with each others 80% of the time, it is up to the devs to give it some priority to this big issue after 5 months dont you think?The path finding has never been perfect in previous game versions, even the UP had to fix the patrolling thing when units where giving priority to attack closer buildings instead of close units. The old 1.0c patrolling has the forward patrolling with insta attack that the finnish guys were abusing in water and xbows or have you forgotten that?
The villagers have always been dumb, go and watch old streams from top player and they had to manually select and change the vills in the woodlines because when they crash with each other they re target their selves to the trees in the back of the forest.
Units not attacking also were a common thing in games under +400 ms latency or cpu lag, also units dying when retreating because they were just dumb and walked to the front line.
The things you have been mocking about DE have been part of the original game, stop pretending like it never happened.
DE changed the patrol system with melee units, yes no one could argue that, its been 5 patches since i reported huskarls losing to mangudais consistently, because when they reach the mangudais they don't attack, they charge against one single mangudai at the formation and if they can't reach it they don't attack the other closer units they just stand still or hit buildings, the same happen even to imperial camels.
I remember one of the beta patches, where i could successfully block crossbows with my knights killing them like flies like they should, i was happy with it, but it was changed at the next patch, a lot of micro nerds would be super angry if that pathing would be the standard now.

They changed the class on it which inadvertently broke their attack sequence. It no long shoots all projectiles at same time but sequentially with a delay inbetween. Total attack now takes 5.45 seconds instead of just 3.45 seconds so it's not possible to hit and run anymore cause u won't get the full damage if u break the salvo.whats the bug?
