Dracont vs Modri Showmatch

After the amazing Clown cup 2 that we had in the previous year which was won but the one and only Daut, the time for Clown Cup 3 has come.
DE can't be considered a serious game without a clown cup happening on it so the preparations have begun.
There is still no date for the tournament but i can already tell you that it will be open sign ups with at least 64 spots.
The prize pool for Clown Cup 3 has 241$ at the moment in it and we have a goal of 500$ so if any one is willing to kick in, the showmatch will be a great opportunity and all donations will go towards the prize pool.
To make things a bit more clownish i can promise you this: If we get to the donation goal during the showmatch i will put on a clown costume and stream like that till the end of the showmatch.

A bit about the settings:
The showmatch will be between 2 notorious arena clowns: Dracont (The lizard) vs Modri (The slav?)
Prize pool for the showmatch is 100$ sponsored by me and joubine, winner takes it all.
Bo7, draft, 1 ban each.
All games will be arena obviously.
I will be the admin.
Casting is open for all.

Ty to everyone, the players that put some nice show ( specialy the mrush war was fun to watch 11) , to terror for always promoting our wonderful map and to the viewers and donators.

I hope we can see in the future some team random civs and some civ match ups where it's 50-50 to see less civ wins in that map. I know team random might look boring, but for potential high lvl and be fair, it could be nice. But that's only my opinion of course.

Cmon, this is poor. I wanted to be mainly positive with the feedback, but this one somewhat ruins the idea for me. Ffs, we agreed on "no siege towers" 2 days ago, you somehow got to conclusion siege towers are fixed after new patch (despite theres nothing about them in the patch notes and while testing I just crashed MP game with a siege tower). If we agreed that siege towers are allowed, vik vs burm is usually the spot for me to fast xbow siege tower (even more if I see opponent uptime with 30+2), but I obviously didnt do it, if I did the game was over and thered not be game 7. So no, you didnt win the showmatch, you used something we literally agreed to not use and it turned the game from a worse civ with worse map and worse opening into a win. Ill take 2 things from this: Next time for a showmatch, we both agree to rules with an admin of the showmatch and secondly we both put our own money in, if you want to call yourself "champion" its surely not bad for you. I was looking fwd to it, I enjoyed the showmatch a lot, but that kind of win and the way how you call it after the match really ruined that.

What exactly is the problem now? We just talked after the games on Terror's discord and everything was settled and fine. Only because I uploaded the games here lol? I literally gifted half of the prize money to you (which you further donated back to Terror) as compensation for using the siege tower. If the game broke (which it didn't) we would replay that match-up and I wouldn't be able to use it. That's what we disscussed during the pause. We did play 7 games and I did win 4 of them. And I split the prizemoney with you. What more do you want?

No, you didnt win 4 games, you won 3 and in 4th broke a rule we agreed on, its like if I used turks in game 7, despite them being banned. You, instead of having a minor chance to win with your civ and map and therefore loosing the whole showmatch and prize did something whats breaking the rules and this way it won you the game and now youre pretending to be generous when you give me 50% of the prizepool and still call yourself a winner?
"If the game broke up we would replay the game". LOL. So we would replay a game when you break a rule, youd very likely get a better map than you did and that would be fine and fair? Our discussion was "you broke the rules, Iam dead now" "dunno what to do now" "lets finish the game and then we decide" - what else should we do at that point?
As I said, next time we play we confirm the rules with an admin and if you wanna call yourself the champion after such win, we can play next time with out own money in - ez money for you.

You know if that has been with standard tournament rules, youd get an AW for that last game and youd not have chance to "replay it", ask Terror he still remembers from NAC3 Qualis.

Cheers for uploading this. I was meaning to ask it on Discord later today, because I want to have a look at the builds used in two of the matches. One because it was just overwhelming and one because of the clownery.

Said this on stream, but worth saying again: Big thanks to everyone involved, the players, the host, the co-sponsor, the people tossing in so much support for the Cup and the backseat clowns in the chat. Good fun!

Only disappointment, and it was a big one, was JonSlow promising to put on a clown costume and constantly cheating by taking off the nose. Basically ruined the entire thing.
