Me and Modri had an argument and we decided to prove who's right by Bo11 Arena Showmatch.

When? This Sunday (3/4) 14 GMT.
What? We'll play Bo11, each player drafts 6 mirror matchups. First game will be a coinflip whose mirror civ is played first, from game 2, loser of previous game chooses the mirror matchup from the ones he drafted.
Why? Modri: 'I also hear how "even Modri would agree Dracken is way better player in arena mirror matches". So I offered we both put up 300$ and play 600$ bo11 mirror arena showmatch. Dracken accepted. At least I'll make some money off of his delusions.'

Open streaming, however streaming with a red nose and a wig is required. Enjoy.

A bit off topic, I never understand "Both put X amount on the table" kind of thingy in 1v1s. This serves nothing other than boosting the prize money, after all its just "loser gives X amount to winner". I get it for winner takes all / split according to ranks in FFAs tho.

Well this was born out from arguments and insults towards eachother, not necessarily a showmatch for the viewers, it was an ego battle 11

I had relic lead in 3 games, Modri in 4, 1 game ended minute 18. Arena is a map that is very dependant on relics which is the reason for the current meta, for example Berber mirror was a great example how important gold control/relics are, 100% sure if Modri had 4:1 relics that one (was 3:2 for him), he'd win the game. I lost 2 games where I had 4:1 relic lead, in one of them Modri just went boom and had 15+ vill lead - the game was still very close because of my relic advantage. Second game was decided by one major engagement, but it was simply a big throw from my side.

Some matchups are more dependant on relics, some less, but it's wrong to put relics as irrelevant until the end.

Overall good showmatch, result should be at least closer, but Modri played more consistent and better in most games. He has better LC play and I should have more things prepared to avoid running into LCav meta so many games.

Not sure what's the benefit of bringing discord messages here and turning it into grudge match, one thing is entertaining salt that we had with Metal, 2nd is lacking any respect for opponent and insulting him. I'm up for a revenge, but I don't see the point of keeping that disrespectful manner.
