Is it worth the money (500€/Hour for the Pros and 30€/Hour for the "semi Pros")? Since they have probaly the best game knowledge they could help a lot i think. Does someone has experience with the programm and how the coaching is being?
Wtf is your problem dude? Just ignore my thread if u got problems.Jesus F Christ, he won't ever stop, permanent ban is the only way
While most threads by Please_dont_choose_goths seem silly, this one is an interesting question I feel.Jesus F Christ, he won't ever stop, permanent ban is the only way
You can find (positive) stories about that under most reddit threads advertising the second/etc. rounds of coaching (from big names), but ofc it's hard to say how much progress is from the coach and how much from the fact that the player paid for it, so they're actually focusing on the gameplay/replays.or any other coaching for that matter
While this isn’t about DE (pre-DE, around 2013/2014, the ara Hun war era) or GL coaches specifically, there is Kongensgade that comes to mind. He took lessons from dogao more than one time I believe, even wrote about it briefly on forums back then. I recall him hovering around 1900 regularly, then sometime later he’s in the 2100 range and eventually broke 2200. Probably one of the best pupils.I would also be interested to know if anyone who has taken the GL coaching (or any other coaching for that matter) has benefitted a lot from it, whether it has had any major impact on their rating.

Oh wow but cant they just say no?lolno
GL players themselves said here they were required by GL to offer coaching through the website and deliberately set their prices that high to dissuade anyone from procuring those services.
I don't think so since that would defeat the purpose of GL requiring them to offer those services.Oh wow but cant they just say no?
Yeah Viper said the point aside from trying to dissuade people was to set it high enough he would be dumb to say no if someone wanted it.I think they might accept for 500€/h, even if they didn't really want it in the first place.
However if you're around 1k elo you don't need coaching from a pro. Coaching from a 1700-2000 elo would be enough for you. Besides other people probably need the money more than the GL guys. There are plenty of good players offering coaching.
You might also be benefited from other types of coaching, judging by your previous posts.
All the best!
Friendly English tip, since I know you are secure enough to take this as advice rather than a personal insult: grammatically correct usage here is either "be benefitted by" or "benefit from" and the latter is preferred stylistically because it avoids repeating the prepositional phrase construction found in the second part of the sentence. You might also be benefited from other types of coaching, judging by your previous posts.

Interesting, I don't think I've ever used "by", always "from". I'll Google it later thanks.Friendly English tip, since I know you are secure enough to take this as advice rather than a personal insult: grammatically correct usage here is either "be benefitted by" or "benefit from" and the latter is preferred stylistically because it avoids repeating the prepositional phrase construction found in the second part of the sentence.
Fixed it for you.I took some coaching by semi pro Jupe and learned how not to lure boars
Wait arent you some kind of semipro anyway?I took some coaching by semi pro Jupe and learned how to lure boars
He is, but Jupe taught him the quadruple boar lureWait arent you some kind of semipro anyway?
Think of 'from' as referring to the source and 'by' as referring to the means. So the individual can "benefit from coaching" because coaching is the source of that benefit, but when you use "be benefitted" instead you are effectively making coaching the agent of their benefit so the preposition has to be 'by'. Man I love going through random topics and stumbling upon on-a-tangent gems like these. Keep it up.
