Does anyone has experience with the GL Coaching Programm?

Is it worth the money (500€/Hour for the Pros and 30€/Hour for the "semi Pros")? Since they have probaly the best game knowledge they could help a lot i think. Does someone has experience with the programm and how the coaching is being?

While most threads by Please_dont_choose_goths seem silly, this one is an interesting question I feel.

I would also be interested to know if anyone who has taken the GL coaching (or any other coaching for that matter) has benefitted a lot from it, whether it has had any major impact on their rating.

You can find (positive) stories about that under most reddit threads advertising the second/etc. rounds of coaching (from big names), but ofc it's hard to say how much progress is from the coach and how much from the fact that the player paid for it, so they're actually focusing on the gameplay/replays.

While this isn’t about DE (pre-DE, around 2013/2014, the ara Hun war era) or GL coaches specifically, there is Kongensgade that comes to mind. He took lessons from dogao more than one time I believe, even wrote about it briefly on forums back then. I recall him hovering around 1900 regularly, then sometime later he’s in the 2100 range and eventually broke 2200. Probably one of the best pupils.

Then I recall another guy who got 1900 or 2k from dogao (also mentioned it on forums).

GL players themselves said here they were required by GL to offer coaching through the website and deliberately set their prices that high to dissuade anyone from procuring those services.

I think they might accept for 500€/h, even if they didn't really want it in the first place.

However if you're around 1k elo you don't need coaching from a pro. Coaching from a 1700-2000 elo would be enough for you. Besides other people probably need the money more than the GL guys. There are plenty of good players offering coaching.

You might also be benefited from other types of coaching, judging by your previous posts.

Friendly English tip, since I know you are secure enough to take this as advice rather than a personal insult: grammatically correct usage here is either "be benefitted by" or "benefit from" and the latter is preferred stylistically because it avoids repeating the prepositional phrase construction found in the second part of the sentence.

Well, this thread triggered me to calculate ROI for 500Euro/hour... While doing that, I realized it would be fun if GL assign training to Nili, GL member, whose career earnings are around 8K and mostly team games or DM + tournament/showmatches he lost.

If you said truth about your rating in the previous posts I can give you free tips in here:
1 ) learn your hotkeys
2 ) keep tc working all the time
3 ) learn build orders
4 ) practise the build orders even against AI until you have the so called "Automatismen".

I said it few times already but with just pure FC build I was able to beat 1400-1500 on voobly and imo I have 0 rts talent.
