§2 - Bombard Towers, Gates, Market & Stone Walls
Players may not build any Bombard Towers or Gates of any sort during games. Use of the market & stone walls are allowed.
§3 - Civilization Selection
Repeat picking of mirror civs are not allowed in a series. This will also include the predetermined civs in each round.
For Example, if Game 1 civ was Japanese, then both players would not be able to pick Japanese again for G4 & G5 in a series. Same rule applies if G6 in a series was persians, then players would be be able to persians in the earlier mirror games in a series. However, if Franks were picked in either of the two un-mirrored matchups - then franks could be picked again for either one of the G4 or G5 in a series.
The only exception to this rule is for the games involving Player A picking two civs and Player B choosing which he/she plays. The civs chosen by Player A may be any two civ combination that is unique to the series; for example, if the civs Mayans and Franks were chosen in a prior game, Player A cannot choose Mayans and Franks, but may choose any other unique combination (such as Mayans and Aztecs, or Franks and Incas). Furthermore, players may not choose mirrored civs for these games. Repeat picking of maps is always allowed.
§4 - Restarts
There will be no restarts based on player's mistakes in game (ex: if you lose 2 villagers to a scout, you mess up build orders, sending scout the wrong way, deleting TC, etc.).
§5 - Bugged Map Restarts
A player can request bugged map restarts during the first 2 minutes (game time).
A bugged map is defined as the following for standard resource starts:
Gold: Less than 50% of the main gold cluster is at least accessible on one side, extra gold are excluded.
Stone: Less than 50% of the main stone cluster is at least accessible on one side, extra stones are excluded.
§6 - Graphical Mods
