You don't really feel that nostalgia as a viewer, and lobby system is good enough for tournaments in DE.

add the pathfinding in voobly is much better.
i would do a 3-3 or 4-4 DM tournament in Voobly
no 1-1. there is certain people playing DM TG but no 1-1.
the thing with voobly is that some playerrs dont have the WK, they still playing AoC. but for that money they could try
plus a lot of people from DE DM comunity will be back

Instead of a dead gamemode why don't you just give 50,000 to voobly and have them do something good with it?

Assuming this is legit offer (which doesn't seem so based on other posts in this thread) the biggest community dream (for few years already) is to make another 3v3/4v4 Nations Cup happen. If you'd like DM included here, that's absolutely legit addition. NC is also bigger with more prestige than any of the NAC, HC, KotD brands, so optimally the organization would be done by real tournament organizers like Chrazini, robo, Huehuecoyotl12. Even Nili despite his hate for AoE II might drop like 1k from MS money if there would be 50k sponsored.
