5.1 Seeding
Players will be seeded accordingly to their Elo in the “Lower- “or “Higher-rated” Qualifier. Furthermore, you will be seeded into the Qualifiers after your map preference. If more than eight players have a certain map preferred as Nr.1 we will seed you in Qualifiers with your Nr.2 or Nr.3 pick, if spots are still available there. If there are still more than eight players that have a certain map preferred as Nr.1 and we cannot seed you in your Nr.2 or Nr.3 pick than a random generator will draw the eight players that will be seeded in that Qualifier.
This is not going to be the last event so if you can’t be seeded there will be more events in the future.
5.2 Technical Difficulties
In the case of a game crash or de-synchronization, the game must be saved and restored
Any issues that cannot be resolved between players must be immediately brought up to an administrator.
It is recommended that players join a voice chat together, remain muted, to report any issues they may experience during the game immediately and increase the viability of saved games as players can pause more quickly. We will set up a Voice-channel in the official FlyLikeDjango-Discord for this porpoise.
5.3 Player Colors
Player colors will be predetermined. You CANNOT choose a color you wish. Each Qualifier and the Grand Final will have its own Text-channel in the official FlyLikeDjango-Discord. There you will find the information which color you should use during the game.
If a player selects a wrong color the game has to be restarted. Players are not allowed to change their civilization in case of a restart.
5.4 Civilizations
The civilizations that can be used for each map are predetermined. You will find more information regarding the civilizations in 7. Mappool.
If I players chooses a civilization that is not allowed/predetermined the game must be restarted. The person has to then choose one of the predetermined civilizations and start the next game with 50 seconds of idle time. Participants that do not idle their towncenter for 50 seconds are immediately disqualified and banned from all future events.
The other players are not allowed to change their civilization in case of a restart.
Grand Final: Players from the “Lower-Rated” Qualifiers are allowed to pick the predetermined Civilizations of the “´Higher-Rated” Qualifiers but not wise versa.
5.5 Restarts
Players can request a restart in situations where their maps are bugged or otherwise failed to generate in the intended way.
The restart must be called during the first five minutes of in-game time. After a restart, civilizations and colors must remain the same.
Players may call a restart if any of the following conditions are met:
1. More than 50% of the sides on a player-specific gold deposit, stone deposit or forage bush cluster are inaccessible.
2. The intended number of relics fail to generate.
3. Any herdable or wild animal that belongs to a player is trapped or in any way inaccessible.
