true. But currently I am happy that there are age2 news at all . And it might be wishfull thinking but who knows, maybe the DLC will come together with a patch that faces a few of the current problems.

Anyways seems like India gets something news, maybe they split the "indians" into 2 new civs?

It didn't happen with the other two DLCs so not sure optimism is justified anymore.

I remember reading several posts here that suggested India would be better represented by multiple civs so I could believe this is the case.

So, if this isn't a campaign picture the teal civilization has a unique outpost, unique infantry and unique cavalry, while the red player has a unique spearman, elephant archers and battle elephants... this seems very messy...
I guess the DLC will rework the current indian civilization. Already forgot, that they changed Lithuanians and Malians, simply due to the new civs they added... Seems like they might take this a step further with this one.

Remove one civ, split it into 2 and then sell it for 10 €?

For me, the rugs on the elephant near the outpost looks like "Chola" civ? Because it looks like a tiger, which always represent the Chola civ . Also, elephants and elephant archers are there.

Plus, there are soldiers on the right which have some weird looking weapons and there are some new cav units as well.

Edit: After looking at reddit, the infantry look like Chakram

Doesn't red have the Indian Elephant Archers and Battle Elephants (smth. Indians currently have no access to)?
Also the thing in the middle seems like a completely new sort of elephant, but I guess some of these things could be campaign related (like the outposts) since Red has both Battle Elephants and Elite Battle Elephants.

what? i might be wrong but camels were not used in battle by indians unlike elephants.

War elephants were used extensively in Indian armies throughout the time period. I think he is trying to mock people who complain about Indians not having access to elephant units because of the historical inaccuracy.

Yeah, if I remember correct for the last DLC it were always campaign picutres. So probably not all units are actually available ingame.

I would support the DLCs a lot more if they were campaign only rather than trying to stuff more unnecessary civs into multiplayer.

The spearmen, lancers and chakram infantry seem new. The ‘outpost’ is a kind of tower that is used quite often in existing campaigns and scenarios, not new at all.

It seems old Indians will have battle elephants, but in that photo (i suppose that civ is in imperial age) have camel rider from castle age. Can imperial camel be removed from indians and give them to Saracens, maybe?

Well, only one civilization has South Asian architecture, so it is understable now.

If they just learn to sell skins, campaigns, artwork they can fix the balance of the civs and keep making money without having to do these damn dlc's and refusing to fix the game so people are compelled to buy the new DLC in hopes for the game fixes. the whole friggin business model is so basic and counter productive.

I would say most people are happy with DLCs

Why is it counter productive?
They are growing their content base, providing new single-player content, and making money
