Or you can do what I do and play Magyars all the time. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel plebs. In this youtube video i show how easy it is to just wall a wolf in minimizing idle time and possibly even hp loss.
this is how we should be dealing with wolfs imo, it might look like a small optimization but it can have huge impact on the game, especially when we are talking about a villager walling or docking.
What we should do with wolves in aoe2.

Sub 20 apm? Are you using a track pad from the 90'sJudging by that clip. Your effective apm was at least in the 60+ there.
This may not work for us sub 20 apmers

Well, having his scout walled in has not much to do with this trick as it can't really happen when the scout moves ;-)
Nah just watch derps clips from this thread. Walling in the scout works the same way as walling the wolf. Probably harder cause the scout is faster and bigger hitbox I guess. And sure if you watch you can probably prevent it.Well, having his scout walled in has not much to do with this trick as it can't really happen when the scout moves ;-)
It's also nothing new - I got my scout walled in on voobly on 12xx/13xx level all the time when I didn't pay attention 11
True, OK, it works when attacking the vill. But if you attack the vill and look away for so long it's really your own fault 11Nah just watch derps clips from this thread. But ya you can wall in the scout while hes attacking your vill.
Time for foundations being passable until 30% build
It might be tedious to play against quickwalls, but AoE2 is already lacking in 'big plays' (mango shots are the main one, daut castles are there too, treb wars can be pretty intense) that make for good little bursts of excitement / good clipbait for twitch. It's good for the game to have opportunities to do stuff like that.Is there an actual reason a nerf to quickwalling hasn't been implemented yet? It's one of the most tedious and immersion breaking elements of competitive play.
