Not including viewer count, 2/10
He had a command for a few weeks explaining that he was playing the DM 2v2 tourney.
personally, I will never turn on his stream again. The only reason he is not completely dropping aoe2 is, because aoe4 is failing massively and he can't survive as a streamer without an audience.
Just checked twitch tracker for month of January: AoE2 averaged 2.5k concurrent viewers and AoE4 averaged 2.1k concurrent viewers. Its funny how quickly things can change. Last few times I've checked aoe2 always has more viewers.
I just opened my twitch and I was like oh damn how come Nili has 1.1k viewers! His Aoe4 streams generally never cross 500.
Hummm the sponsors have always been rich guys who usually don't stay too long in the game, you can't really count on them for long and continued support and not that they should.AoE2 has been in a constant, slooooooow growth since 2013 (thanks to the release and sales success of AoE2HD, and Userpatch which bettered the experience of the original game + made tournaments better), except 2016, and maybe even 2015 which kinda were off years for tournaments/community
Now that AoE2 is at its peak (remember Redbull Wololo 5?), I find upsetting almost none of the old sponsors from the Voobly days are willing to put tournaments on the table, like they did before.
Seems like they'd rather give means to the game when it's endangered, instead of when it's thriving, which is a logical PoV in a way.
AoE4 started strong and is slowly waning. If the successful-poker-player fails to salvage the ship with his 120k tournament, AoE4 will head the AoE3 route real fast.
That's great.Just checked twitch tracker for month of January: AoE2 averaged 2.5k concurrent viewers and AoE4 averaged 2.1k concurrent viewers.
Understandable, considering there is Nilli's cup qualifiers going on now. Nothing to worry about reallyoh no, today aoe4 had about 50% more viewers than aoe2 on twitch
More like 2xThat was this morning; now, when actual qualifiers are going on, it's more like 5x
This is why single point in time comparisons are absolutely useless. Anyone can cherry pick a time of day to find the viewership numbers they want to prove their point.More like 2x
I guess it just depends on when you check it
I don't know how accurate this would be now given the 48hr Andre and Ruben streams 11If you actually want a decent comparison, look at 7 day or 30 day average concurrent viewership

Guys if with a 100k event this weekend aoe4 didn’t have more viewers than aoe2 that would be crazy, there were almost nobody streaming aoe2 this weekend from the big channels, but I was having 1.5k viewers streaming @OGN tournament (and I make 0 promotion or schedule when I go live) that by the way I recommend you to tune in since the settings and maps looks so promising.
Let’s go baby.
Long live the reign of Rage Forest!Mbl's recent ladder opponents (last 25 games or so):
Dragonstar (x2), Kingstone, Overtaken, Miguel, FreakinAndy, DonCabron, Mr. Greed, Kongen 42 (x3), m0re, Unknown (Sebastian?) (x6), SongSong, TheBloodless, BamBam, Margougou (x3), Eren, Dogao
The ladder has never recovered from aoe4 release and it's pretty sad actually.
Real pros are playing team games, so I would say the AoE 2 situation is actually healthier than it has been since the end of BoA 2.Mbl's recent ladder opponents (last 25 games or so):
