Theoritically yes, but after AOE4 and Cyberpunk...Meh...
Yeah both are massively behind expectations and not delivering on even basic things.
Difference is Cyberpunk does not have blind faith fan boys

i play on voobly, have you any problem??Well not exactly, unless you playing on voobly, but I don't understand why ppl do play there anyways.
I mean aoe2 is kind of 22 years old game, but you can't say that when we are talking about graphics while it was remade 2 years ago with way way better graphics than it initially had.
Actually, yes.so you basically say AoE4 for example is an AAA game because it was planned to be one, like a Ferrari is developed to be an AAA car or something.Seems a quite objective way to define AAA games, thus interesting.
Well I can play even on my old 7 years laptop DE, not as good quality as on this pc, but it doesnt lag,i play on voobly, have you any problem??
i dont have money to buy a computer nor the space in my apartment.
1.-No forced settingsWell I can play even on my old 7 years laptop DE, not as good quality as on this pc, but it doesnt lag,
but I can understand no money issue, although space required for the one you saying you do play and other... I don't see how that differs. But I never said I have an issue with it, I just sincerely do not understand why people would keep playing on voobly, that;s I guess the only reason I can understand is no money/pc, else is just being stubborn to switch, as DE is just better
What super spectator? And you can see chat nowadays when spectating, it was introduced.1.-No forced settings
2.-Social interaction, public chat, pirvate chat, emotes, etc.
3.-Superior spectator feature with an actual spectator chat
4.-More ranked ladders even for CBA
5.-Low hardware requirements
6.-Reports and bans work there.
7.-Black list to prevent you to play with ertug or hoang.
8.- NPL and noob protection, unlike DE that noob bashing is a feature.
I mean the game version is quite outdated and laggy but the platform is better offering a friendly environment for their users, ever since the punishment patch on DE i have seen lots of players(that own the DE) playing team games back at voobly.
Sir, you need to calm down1.-No forced settings

I can watch 8 people play and I can talk to them in game while in the same looby room. I can do that with up to 100 other peopleWhat super spectator? And you can see chat nowadays when spectating, it was introduced.
Well half of those I would say they are pro and con at same time, but idk, list of DE benefits would be way longer. Although I agree, team ratings/matchmaking on DE suck big time, although Im playing mostly 1v1 arabia, so don't really see benefits of voobly there. Things like ranked CBA for certain group could be quite high reason to play there I suppose
i have a laptop taht cant run the game.Well I can play even on my old 7 years laptop DE, not as good quality as on this pc, but it doesnt lag,

lol. pathing better in WK/AoC? wow talk about bias. DE was a HUGE improvement on pathing and it was also mentioned how it was improved.i have a laptop taht cant run the game.
and i will tell you something, pathing is beter in WK or AoC in voobly than in DE.
lol. pathing better in WK/AoC? wow talk about bias. DE was a HUGE improvement on pathing and it was also mentioned how it was improved.
Pretty much. At least from a customer point of view, any "Us vs. Them" between DE and Voobly is an illusion that doesn't exist. For DE and Voobly multiplayer infrastructures offer fundamentally different experiences for different kinds of customers.Although I agree, team ratings/matchmaking on DE suck big time, although Im playing mostly 1v1 arabia, so don't really see benefits of voobly there. Things like ranked CBA for certain group could be quite high reason to play there I suppose
I hope this image will be permanent after Dave and T90's tournament.
Kind of ironic that after all the pros talked about how great AoE4 was because it was more "aggressive" came back to AoE2 to play.... Black ForestThe only reason why aoe2 is still alive is the constantly growing Rageforest community.
Now seriusly.
Yeah... That's super ironic... What conclusion we can make out of this?Kind of ironic that after all the pros talked about how great AoE4 was because it was more "aggressive" came back to AoE2 to play.... Black Forest
Since when does Botez stream Chess and is not Just Chatting! Kappa
Rage forest is more agressive than arabia.Kind of ironic that after all the pros talked about how great AoE4 was because it was more "aggressive" came back to AoE2 to play.... Black Forest
WTH are you talking?? when DE came out, you can kill knights with archers easly because the pathing. they fix a lot, but play one game in Voobly and you will see what im talking about.lol. pathing better in WK/AoC? wow talk about bias. DE was a HUGE improvement on pathing and it was also mentioned how it was improved.
aoe4 pathing is even way more advanced, it takes a more modern algo to do pathfinding (it doesnt use the A* algo for the nerds out here) which results in units not bumping into each other etc... the cavalry passing through ranks of allied/own infantry is so buttery smooth
That currently the 1v1 matchmaking in AoE2 doesn't give them any incentive to play anymore as there are too less players on their Elo that they could play against with reasonable waiting times.Yeah... That's super ironic... What conclusion we can make out of this?
Game lost another 6-7k players during december, by mid february the game might go out from the top 100, i guess we will never find out "the potential" it had lolAoe 4 already ded![]()
