I believe if you have your steam profile private you are not listed on the aoe2.club website (atleast I am not listed)
EDIT: okay it does find me, but I have no country

nc17 germany had the most players playing the german community grew a lot in the last years. The more limiting factor will be the amount of teams each nation can have i guess 6...I expect Germany to sign up with >100 players .
Well, 30-50 would already be a lot, but not surprising following the last Nations Cups.
My profile is private, and even if it was public I have set its country to Italy, and yet aoe2.club and aoe2.net both show correctly my location(Poland)I believe if you have your steam profile private you are not listed on the aoe2.club website (atleast I am not listed)

For NC it does make sense to limit the teams. For the AOElympics, if every player from a nation played the maximum allowed amount of 4 1v1 brackets, 3 2v2 brackets, and 4 4v4 brackets, 30 players would be enough. If everyone only plays half of that and you want to sign up for a 4v4 bracket with 5-6 players, then 60 are not even enough to fill all spots. So there could be room for 100 players from a country, just everyone has to play different settings.nc17 germany had the most players playing the german community grew a lot in the last years. For NC, unless the rules change, there is not much to do. For the AOElympics the only way might be if his parents or grandparents were born in a place which now belongs to a different country.
FeelsDautMan Can we get him better country for NC?
Now I understand. Could have called it "territory ranking", but did not think about it when taking the information from the website. But there even Reunion is called a country there.Country ranking and active players/country
Hello everyone, I have created aoe2.club and can give some answers (wait till the end to find out why I picked the name lol). First, I am glad to see many happy comments discussing the players & countries and find out about active players and ranking
Small country but with the best girls¡Pha!! You small countries with no players are pathetic!
Valve as a company and Steam as a platform is fully available and legally operating in China, its games never went through the publication examination procedure (e.g. unsensored adult games, ironically mostly made by chinese producers).Do you mean the amount of Chinese playing? Imagine him looking at AoEZone .
I'm sure the government knows who uses Steam.
In real olympics it's not restriction free. Upon agreement by China/Taiwan, Taiwan are using Chinese Taipei as the name, they are not allowed to use their national flag but only emblem-like association flag, when they won gold medal, no national anthem but olympic anthem would be played. Now I understand. Personally for me it is not important what to call it in the AoE world. I think in the 2014 NC, Hong Kong was "Hong Kong China", but in 2017 just "Hong Kong". In real Olympic Games Hong Kong and Taiwan participate separately too. So it does make sense to include them separately.
