Dude delete your topic and stop spoiling to everyone........
Man, one just stops by at aoezone and the two hottest thread titles are just big spoilers of the weekend.
Good job. But I guess it's my fault to come here without having watched the weekend's streams ...

Did they change the title? The current one doesn't really spoil.
I don't think people are whining about Secret losing as much as acknowledging things they see, but you are correct that aM deserve a lot of credit for the victory because even with the arguably favorable conditions they enjoyed the aM of tournaments past would not have held it together mentally as well as they did in this series. It is great to see them improving in this way; hopefully the win gives them the confidence they need to keep up their good work. Under the right settings TG are just as entertaining as 1v1s (if not more) and having teams capable of forcing Secret to try is great for growing that portion of the competitive scene.
Whining is probably over the top, i agree. It is more like Secret get now more attention for losing, than AM for winning. That is just wrong. I just want to make this thread so we can give AM too some love.
Guys, come on. If you don't watch the games don't read the forums. It's basic logic.
People should be able to come to a forum about a game that is a lot more than esports results without instantly having those esports results spoiled?
People should be able to come to the forum as much as they want, but also see the results. I won't go into BBC Sports website if I don't want to see sports results. It's pretty simple man, basic logic. This forum is about aoe2, expect to see people talk about it.
aoezone is not only a forum. If one reads specific threads, I agree that it falls under stupidity tax to get spoiled. What bothered me was, that you couldn't open the website without getting spoiled for practically the complete KO stage.Guys, come on. If you don't watch the games don't read the forums. Well logically, "x won the tournament" includes "y didn't win the tournament", so this thread kind of spoiled more (although the other thread was older, so the "surplus spoiling" for this thread wasn't probably too big :D). Anyway, I posted here, because the thread was new and I had therefore more hope to get heard.I dont know what is the biggest spoiler: The thread "Is Tyrant ( Secret ) dynasty over?" or this thread?
We just have different opinions. Luckily there's freedom here. You're free to keep going into BBC Sports or aoezone and get the results spoiled, but also free to campaign or voice your opinion against spoilers. I'm just sharing my view, which is the opposite. No worries at allThey should be able to see the results in a spot where they are not going to be accidentally exposed to them while looking for something else. The way the forum is currently structured "General Discussion" covers so many different topics of interest it is unreasonable to expect them to avoid looking there because they don't want to see tournament results, especially because it isn't exactly difficult to make a nice easily visible subforum called "Tournament Results Discussion" to contain it. AoE2 is a game, not an esport; they are only part of it, not all of it.
fking morons really...
Be me: having a back and forth combo, keeping it civil, respecting others perspectives.... suddently Gman appears... ty gman

The way I see it, when you don't watch a live event, the spoiling is bound to happen, one way or another. Even more so if you go into a themed website/community. It's the downside of not watching live, and I don't think everyone else should be careful not to say certain things.
I see your point and I know there are others that think alike, especially in aoe2. I've seen it happening in many Twich chats. It just seems completely nonsensical to me
Imagine complaining about spoilers when you visit aoezone after a huge tournament. Its like watching a sports network after world cup and then complaining they are talking about the final, fking morons really...
11 srry man, sometimes i just cant anymore
We're absolutely goodIf you can do that then we're all good.
