Conclusion of BoA Showmatches

Well, there have been 2 BoA showmatches and i want to tell my thoughts and start the BoA hype and talk about the game that we love.
First, WWP-mynsanity. WWP was really prepared. you can see in strategies, aproach to the diferent maps. Lyx played really good, yo too, like 99% of times, and vivi played good too. Think that if vivi move one step forward, they have a really good shot in the tournament. MYI, lacks sitaux. think this team cant play without him. margou played a little sloppy. In the last 3-3 tournament he played awesome, and was for me, the bigest and better surprise. in this showmatch he was sloppy, always loosing his flank. maybe he is a pocket player.
Second, Suomi-AM: beatifull games. think suomi was prepared, AM not much but individuals matters a lot too. both teams can be champions, but AM has more probabilietes if they prepare and practice. Rubenstock surprise me for good, now he makes vills and economy and he is not only the clown guy.
About BoA: maps are really good. excelent choice.
General discusion: think AM-Suomi-WWP has a diferent player each that can create havoc, MBL, Lyx, Rubenstock. dont see this kind of player in GL. this could be a plus or not?

Chaos wise are Lyx > Rubenstock > MBL = Tatoh , but overall skill wise MBL and Tatoh are much better than both.
I think teams with overall better players shouldn't play the chaotic style since it is too risky and in order to match Lyx and Rubenstock level of chaos, you need a lot of practice to do that. They should focus on training to overcome it instead.
For example to beat Hoang, do you want to learn to play his style and copy his build order to learn to counter it? Probably better to learn to counter it.

I see the chaotic style kind of like slinging. Other than getting resources quickly, the advantage of slinging is that less players need to invest into upgrades for similar amount of army. With this chaotic style, often multiple players need to spend resources defending (in army, in defensive structures and upgrades for them) whereas in the other team the other players can use the resources to build eco faster.

These strategies make team games (taken seriously) so much more exciting.

tatoh is not in the level of the other three when it comes to havoc, and dont think he will do it in BoA

Tatoh chaos and MBL chaos is totally different. Tatoh probably practiced that chaos 1000 times while MBL probably had no idea about the map and settings and was enjoying life until he realizes it's game time. (exaggerating for both of course)

Ah Mbl, you are so talented man, I wish you were diciplined at same level, could have a lot trophies, but everybody has their own character and enjoys different things i guess.

Ah Mbl, you are so talented man, I wish you were diciplined at same level, could have a lot trophies, but everybody has their own character and enjoys different things i guess.

Mbl has a full time Norwegian day job that is probably far more sustainable, profitable and healthy than playing+streaming aoe2. Though he can never be underestimated, unlike Liereyy he really needs a lot of grinding to be in shape. As much as he’s my favourite aoe2 player-streamer I don’t think the full mbl will ever return/be reached.
