His prices are lower than what most ppl would charge for tutoring any other subject, so its more than alright
i make $45 an hour working in the United States. The prices are accurate to his skill level.
Nicov charges less sure, but isnt his cost of living lower? Hes trying to reach players who are actually wanting to strive at the game. The casual players arent his target audience. If you are dedicated enough to want to excell, then 20$ an hour (depending on your country) is perfectly acceptable. Its 10$ for a Mcdonalds meal here. IF I was looking to get really good, id rather pay Hera 20$ for an hour as opposed to buying 2 McDonalds meals.
Everything is relative. If you live in poorer countries, Hera ISNT TRYING TO EXCLUDE YOU. But at the same time he doesnt want to spend his time that he would have free or making money by charging less. Yes he wants to help the community, but he also wants to help himself. WHICH IS A SMART BUSINESS MOVE. No one becomes rich or great simply by helping others and not themselves. Its a 2 way street. You want to get help, pay a fair price. If you want cheaper help.. then pay a cheaper price to someone in your same economic level. Im sure theres good players who will accept 10$ an hour in your own countries.
its pretty cheap for what he offers tbh. If at any time can afford it, definitely take it.
A lot of this stuff has to do with the size of the community for the game as well as the popularity of the players, since the amount of customers and interest in the service itself will affect the price just like in any business.
Yes and Nico only coaches from 16+ players I think which makes it even cheaperNicov, who in my opinion is one of the most complete players in the top20 , ( it mean he is very good in the most of maps, not only arabia ) , a few months ago he offered a package of $ 100 for 10 hours, so I think that is very expensive what Hera offers here, but as mentioned above, everyone can do that they want with their money, what is expensive for some, maybe is cheap for others, even maybe i'm wrong, maybe Hera price is fair and Nico package is simply cheap
I'd agree with this however Hera has probably never taught over a sustained period before so the discount from a standard hour of instruction is pretty fair.$25 for private one-on-one coaching is cheap. Where I'm living, we'd pay £50 an hour for a private tutor, be it a personal trainer in the gym or for school subjects. No one is charging less.
