Who knows I don't see too many signups, but I think they will all come at the end.
tbh I think they should've allowed all 2k+ to sign up, and add 1 or 2 more rounds. The level between 2k and 2.3k doesnt seem so wide. I can't even tell the difference (but my level is changing really fast too so maybe that's screwing with me)

Older players returning (often even streaming!) is surely one of my favorite things about DE... when Ra used to cocast with Memb was when I got interested in competitive AoE2 for the first time...
I matched 1 player a few times, his name Hoang. Everyone told me he is popular because he like to eat TC. But I eat him first : D.
2150 now. I still like to get to 2200 to make sure I qualify to HC, but I'm in the middle of 12 days work in a row. Balancing with my son it's going to be hard to find time for the games. Lets see. I definitely won't have the time to get enough games to be a threat in HC (Top 16) like I was hoping. But I'll go for the qualification as a good milestone after 2 months of playing.

I see other players and streamers acting all humble. But I pray they're telling themselves "I'M THE BEST EVER". If they're not, they're setting themselves up for failure.
I agree with Ra. You need to have that self-confidence or ego if one leans more towards that word. It is so important and it is definitely there with anyone who got high in anything, just tamed if one is less vocal with it.

Yeah I didn't mean it as a knock. It's entertaining and you've been honest/forthcoming about your progress/struggles so it's an interesting read.
And I remember when Chris posted a wtf gif next to a screenshot of IamVenom being #1 11. Such great times.
Alright so someone changed the rating system so I only climb up a few points at a time for beating same rated players. They're trying everything they can to stop me. Fdps

A certain clan will be formed again. Some big names coming back to dominate the scene. Others are dabbling and still considering. But the deadly duo is returning and thats confirmed. More next week.

Did you subtract the 5 capoch, 3 mbl, 3 hoang, 2 vivi etc? Top 100 is probably honestly top 50 depending on how many alt accounts have been active xD
The calculatuon is not far off though. Seeding is done by highest rating achieved and if every eligible player signs up, #72 (without smurfs) would be at 2208 highest rating as of yesterday. Obviously this won't happen, a few players always miss out...

To pump your ego even further, this is huge news man. You and Jordan were the players I missed most after you quit. The whispered chilled casting with memb back in the day was legendary.
I was hoping to get some distance from the scene as there is no time to "waste" on watching other play Age, alas, it doesnt look like like its gonna work out.
