In the recent patch there has been the following updates to Arabia map:
What are your thoughts?
I personally like them except for the "forests generate further away". My feeling when I'm sending my initial vils to wood is like they're too far and, in case of attack, it causes even bigger idle time to move them back to TC. Also the way forest generate now... I often end up with 2 wood camps on same forest.
- Each player now has 3 starting forests positioned towards the edge of the map.
- The players’ starting forests generate further away.
- The front of each player’s base is more open making it more vulnerable to attacks.
- Hills can now appear closer to players’ town centers.
- The third gold pile for each player is generated further away.
- Extra gold, stone, as well as relics, are now generated per player and therefore more fairly balanced.
- Slight variance has been added to the the circular positioning of players’ bases.
- Cliffs and water oases have been removed.
