I had to scroll down just to figure out wtf people were referencing in other threads, and I wouldn't call my activity "average," on the website. A thread will typically run its own course. The point of a thread shouldn't be some thing that is posted then immediately locked because someone felt it had run its course in less than 24 hours.
The purpose of a thread isn't a 1-1 conversation. If I call out HongeyKong for most of his posts being completely contentless meme-spam, the thread shouldn't end when I declare that I one-sidedly have shot my shot and that's all folks. If people wanted that, they would stay on twitch where they can consume one-sided unchallenged/filtered opinions. IE: Lidakor might've thought banning Daniel and Bugum from tournaments for having bad internet / giving up the last game in two pools was actually a good thing if the community didn't say anything. People might have thought Chrazini made a bad call in RBW5 qualifiers if it wasn't plainly demonstrated the handbook was being followed.Hera might be free to continue calling opponents "*****," while playing them (some things will never change.)
That is how a private message works.
That something has been brought out into the open and now suddenly because it's uncomfortable for a few people, it needs to be locked? Now there are three separate threads with different tidbits of information in each. If it had not been brought out, you wouldn't have had the Viper, T90 and other members of the community draw in pretty plain sight that there was a miscommunication and could head towards resolution. Just because Gabi is a popular player and is invited to tournaments shouldn't allow for her actions to go undiscussed, just like other players actions should not go undiscussed.
Favoritism/demagoguery has no place in a forum.
