The comparison between Ronaldo and Viper is way off. Ronaldo gets a salary. Viper doesn't. No one has the right to demand how Viper plays.
The debate is if it was disrespect to the tournament or not. Yes it was. If he valued winning it more, he would have played much safer like he mostly does.
This disrespect can be extended to normal rated games as well. Is it disrespect to try troll strategies against an opponent when he is trying to play serious.Yes. Does everyone play 100% serious all the time? No.
You also can't please everyone all the time. If the tournament organizers don't want people playing a certain way, they need to have appropriate rules in place or not allow such players to participate. But if they're okay with it, there is not much to talk about.

I think you are asking such questions as you are little biased against Viper.

Real Madrid plays differently in league or Spain's cup than in Champions League for various reasons, though always trying to win. It is RM's decision, no need to be upset, it is expected the match isn't always the same.

Sure RM does not play at absolute best level in league but they don't deliberately score own goals or deliberately not score when opp goal is empty or deliberately pass to opp player because they are bored of winning. They still try to win and not troll on field.

Well, you cant compare what Viper did with giving the ball away or deliberately not scoring. That would be the case if Viper deleted some of his own units/buildings on purpose or something like that. If you want that comparisson, do it with RM starting to do far more tricks than necessary and trying to "style" on opponents.
He didnt do someting completely stupid, he just did strategies and a playstyle that are less likely to win (and that probably surely would have killed any player below 2000).

I think it's fine if he wants to try weird strategies in a tournament setting (and I dont even like it as a spectator). The only thing that would have been too far away from "trying to win" were the forward mills against Vivi, but that was more because he wanted to say "it's gg, get out here", instead of being disrespectful in an even situation.

I'll try to repeat what I said on my stream regarding this.

I understand that people are disappointed, and I understand that it's viewed as disrespectful, and I wanna apologize for that. I didn't want to disrespect anyone with my approach to the tournament, I was simply trying to have fun on my stream and create entertainment.

When I signed up I was expecting way more of the top players to sign up, it could be a classic huns tournament. Seeing the final list, the prestige was a bit lost to me and I therefore decided to play some unorthodox styles and try to mix it up a bit for entertainment. Never played to lose, but obviously I didn't make optimal decisions nor play optimal strategies all the time, so I understand that it can be viewed that way.

Players like MbL, Yo, vivi and so on are more than capable to beat me anyway, so the result and outcome in the end might not have been different. The Final was great though, congrats to MbL for winning!
